Not only thinking about performance, the sedan will be less for insurance costs because it's not a 2 dr sports car.... The backseat is unusable behind me, with me driving, as I am 6'4" A normal person in the front and a normal person in the back can fit okay.

Well, I took the plunge. Brand new SS/TC Switchblade Silver sedan loaded with 0 miles; I should be taking delivery next week Wednesday. It was $25,489 MSRP, after it was all said and done it came out to $21k including GAP insurance and I also bought the GM extended bumper to bumper 100k warranty since my last Cobalt had so many quirks.
I'm excited Already have an HPT tuner standing by and hopefully I'll have her at HRP once she's broken in! It's nice to see some familiar faces, Ralliartist...How has the board changed? I haven't been on obviously in awhile.
Unfortunately it was stolen and wrecked.

Wow! I feel like I got the deal of the century on mine. I got one, fully loaded with G85 and everything for 15,800... $17,200 OTD. It had 165 miles on it when I drove her off the lot. Granted, it was a 2008 leftover, and was a GM display car. But, for nearly $10k off sticker, I will take a show queen.
I think you will like either the sedan or the coupe. If you have kids, or do alot of hauling people around, definitely go with the sedan. My biggest gripe about the coupe is the passenger seat doesn't go back to where you had it before, it goes back to a default position, which I hate. And the driver's side seat doesn't slide forward to let out rear passengers.
G85 is definitely worth it. I have not compared the non LSD to the LSD car, but I sure do enjoy mine. I would say have someone locate on for you, and try to make a deal.
