Second goes a little higher than 62 on the stock tune. If I NLS into third I'm hitting 70mph easily. I realize the car will coast to a higher speed even during the shift, but I'd wager I leave second at probably 65+mph.

This is for stock tires and stock redline:
1st gear - 36
2nd gear - 69
3rd gear - 103
4th gear - 136
5th gear - 173
Like it was mentioned, you have to watch out because the speedometer lags alot in low gears.

I guess I kind of worded that wrong. I was just wondering the actual speeds. I know that the tach is the important part.

That spreadsheet is wrong.
The F35 MU3 in the 2008 and up cobalt SS with LNF has a 3.82 final drive not 4.05 which is the LSJ final drive. Also, the LNF stock redline is 6250 RPM.

I made the spreadsheet as a tool to see the relationship between rpm and mph for different combinations of tire size, final ratio, and trans ratios. I only got my cobalt a few days ago so I have yet to learn all the differences between models. If anyone wants to play with a copy of the spreadsheet, I can email it (since I can't post .xls files).
