Trifecta Tuning

going to be picking up a tune for my LNF soon, just wanted to know what the whole "Budget tune" option was? I'm assuming its so you can customize/adjust the tune after you purchase or is it like a lesser tune than a non budget?

appreciate the help boys.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Save your money and buy HPTuners and pay KMO43 to tune you. That's your best budget there.

You won't get many responses, Only reason for that is because if any or not many users actually use trifecta,

The reason being is they don't know how to tune our cars properly (not sure about others model cars) And when you confront them about the tune being bad, They will say you are wrong and they know how to tune pretty much. (Don't question us type deal)

Most users go with hp tuners, For a number of different reasons. The big one being the tune itself. Typically in this community if/when someone is tuning you they have owned a cobalt or at least know how to tune a cobalt properly.

yes this is ur best budget here, 500 for hptuners, whatever kmo charges = higher initial cost, but u have tuning software and logging software in the end.

Trifecta, cheap tune, but u have to spend 3k plus on a new motor in the end.

Trifecta used to be decent back when the owner tuned, but that's not the case anymore. If you are going that route just go with the gms factory upgrade tune. Hp is the way to with a good tuner dialing it in. It's more expensive but worth it.

Your car might run fine on trifecta.. Until it explodes.

My tune was running 3.5* knock at wot through every gear and the fuel trims were terrible. First time I inquired about it i was told it was fine and nothing was wrong. Second time I asked they basically shut me down and were rude as **** essentially telling me I'm not a tuner and I have no idea what I'm talking about, then went on to tell me to tune my own car

It came off that day, week later I was term tuned on hptuners and it's a whole different car.

No it was never decent. Owner tuned me and left me with +7 ltft and said that was ok. He didn't even wanna bother to bring them down. Just said it will change with gas and weather, which is true, but not by that much. Bad tuner who stopped caring.
