well. not that it doenst count. its down to personal preference. if he wants to spend more money for same performance, then its his wallet that's hurting.

I personally. wouldn't spend more than I have too, im in your boat.

I will spend what it costs for the quality I need.
TWM is over priced for what it is and lots of people agree. Ive used one, it was terrible. It has issues that TWM doesnt care enough to address even with complaints.

^^ that's why im saying. in this case, just cus the price is cheaper doenst hinder the quality.]
not like your buying replica wheels over real wheels and trying to justify it.

What's everyone's issue with the TWM? I've had one in 2 different cars now and while I admit they're expensive, the feel on both has been great

That TWM shifter tho

I have a twm in my lsj and an ottp in my lnf. The ottp one feels like butter every time and i never miss a gear. The twm one just doesnt feel right to me. Its not as smooth. Ive had both shifters in each car so its not a shifter cable problem. The ottp one is just better. Plus the craftsmanship is top notch.

The TWM design and machining of certain parts make it notchy and hard to adjust properly. It never feels quite right because of that. I am not going to get into the details as to why, its been covered here before, but I will say that Josh at OTTP addressed the issues on his shifter; at half the cost almost lol

I hate that the TWM has to be slammed up against the reverse lockout in order to go in "smoothly." I also want a derlin knob and I think $200+ for a knob is retarded.

I don't have that problem with mine. When I first clamped the cables it was a little rough, but with some adjustment mine works very smoothly. I agree about the knob though

My car came with one but have driven plenty stock shifters. Much stiffer and shorter, love it. Wouldn't pay the price of it if I had to buy though, I'd go with Ottp.

Yeah I will say the price was a little much but the shifter with the zzp bushings made a huge difference.
