sup guys

about a week ago i installed 3 new gauges volt, A/F, and a mech. boost gauge
shortly after gettin them all hooked up and workin my check engine light came on.

when i installed the boost gauge i cut the line thats a direct freed into the manifold and installed me " T " there to run the little vac hose to the boost gauge....

would that " T " set off a check engine light, the car runs and drives fine i have not noticed n-e loose in how it drives.

 

I cant help ya there, but what guages you get? i am looking for some myself!

 

i got the auto meters smoke lens series amber red & super white led....i got the white hooked up

 

scan the code, then re-post. until then no one can help u.

 

The "T" shouldnt be the problem..... Scan th code.....

 

are those bright?

 

The t might do it but wait for a couple of cycles and it should go away. My blow off valve sets off my check engine light off sometimes

 

u didnt get a narrow band a/f did u? if u did u wasted ur money. u should have gotten a oil pressure instead of the narrow band. if ur gonna get gauges on a car like this at least get ones that do something for u. dont be like me on my old car and waste money on something that just for looks that doesnt give u any decent info.

 

yeah im gonna bring it back for oil pressure i talked to the guy today, all i gotta do is trade it in. and sorry there not auto meters there pro sport my bad, i ran a Diagnostic through my on-star to day couldn't really understand him but i think he said somethign about my emissions vac. or somethin like that

those look good. im still debating which ones i want. how do you liek those? they look bright. but that might just be the flash lol

 

are they pretty bright on ur eyes at night, i was looking at prosport, but i went with defi instead cause they didnt look as intense at night. and i love em. ur emissions thing could be he ment evap pressure, which is most likely ur gascap, take it off and put it back on see what it does.

oh and have fun installing the oil pressure sender, lol its a pain in the a$$. ill help u if u need any.

 

yeah im pickin the oil pressure gauge up like tomorrow or soon at lest help would be awesome, i tryed the gas cap thing there deff something wrong everytime i go put gas in my car as soon as im done pumping and **** and im ready to go i go to turn on my car and it jus keep cranking it never turns over so i have to try like 2-3 time befor i get the car to start so i called the dealership where i got it and im takin it in monday to see wuts up

 

ya thats weird there is something wrong there. let me know when u start installing ur oir pressure gauge and ill give u a hand. ill let u know what tools to use and how to do it so u dont have to mess around trying to figure it out. but u will need this so get this before u try installing it

so i just got back from the dealership took 2 hrs in the waiting room, my car needs a new purge cylinder, im not 100% where its found but i think it has to do with something about releasing gasses or somethign like that, they ordered the part, the best part is its all covered free for me, the lady at the front desk said it might be b/c of the boost gauge but it wasnt so thats gettin fixed within the week
