damn, makes me want to get a atmospheric bov, but wait I could get a flange welded on my Injen CP, I know someone who did that it was the one on youtube having compressor surge issue with HKS.

Another thing that needs to be pointed out is installation error.
1) you need a block off plate with the diaphragm left inside
2) ditch the 3-way solenoid that connects to the ic pipe/bov/intake and plug up the now unused nipple on the ic pipe, the orifice of the solenoid restricts flow and might not fully open some bov's
3) run the bov directly to the intake manifold
I've been running my bov like this for almost two years now without any issues, but my maf is also relocated.

For every successful BOV story I hear 10 horror stories (CEL's, messed up fuel trims, flutter, rough idle....) How could you run a BOV and not be tuned for it, it just doesn't make sense?

This is alone for concern on my part.

2) Messed up fuel trims- really? because obviously there are logs to prove otherwise. You can come ride in my car and look at my Scan Gauge if you don't believe me.
3) Flutter- I honestly don't know about this, I know i don't have any
4) Rough idle- ummmm I would love for someone to tell me how a BOV gives you a rough idle.
Im not trying to be a jackass but come on guys. If you don't know how a BOV works them please don't stir up more crap

User error is not the BOV's fault and thats how misinformation starts spreading. "Icouldn't figure it out, BOV's don't work" Then someone else reads that, starts spreading that and BAM...rumor started. lol.
Not trying to be a dick but they do need adjustment and you need to know what you're looking for when doing so.

It has to be hooked up properly and IMHO the factory BPV should be blocked off. The BOV itself must be tuned to open at the proper time to prevent leaks and surging.

Yes, when the airmass reverts it slams into the compressor and can shatter the blades if the shockwave is severe enough. Compressor surge is no joke.

I have had my HKS BOV VTA with the Dejon CP's for almost 1 year (It will be 1 year in July). That was stock, and it ran fine. I now also have the GMS1, and still no problems! Ernie (Negrita SS) installed the CP's & BOV for me. He did a FANTASTIC job! I am NOT using a block-off plate. And I am not using a MAF Relocation setup either. I have no trouble with it at all. I make the same power similar LNF's make and I don't surge or flutter at all. Here is a picture on how he wired it up:
