well on yhe cobalt side of the house its a " no ****" you guys are going to put more whp/trq numbers. Let me remind you that im RWD not front wheel drive. Im sure you know this but i just found it funny....haha cause i can take a joke. Now, what redline does the turbo lose its breath with this wheel is my real interest. Guess we'll have to probably wait a week or two .

It seems to me to there are a lot of "politics" involved in getting anything made or released for the LNF platform.
Affordable mods are being released way to slow, and there is to much "secretive" talk surrounding the cheaper mod alternatives. My guess is so vendors can jack the **** out of prices on those or keep it off the market so they can sell there expensive stuff.
Ex. The K04+ wheel upgrade, we still don't have a part number on the wheel, how much the thing actually cost (not vendor price), etc. and the wheel came to be known about 3 years ago.

Not releasing the testing conditions will make the numbers useless. At the very least the mod list and boost should be released. Everything after that is up to the tuner. That's like cmiller saying he made 501whp on a 5857 and not telling people about any of the other parts it took to get there. So ppl go out and buy the turbo but can't make it past 425 and are like wtf

i'm kinda more of one of those people who likes to get things started, pass it on to someone else, let them make it their own and benefit from it, then produce it and let a whole mass of people benefit from it. what they do on the business side of things is between them. i came up with the idea to bring it to the cobalts as an affordable alternative to turbo swapping and got it started, talked with bullseye and they said get interest. i got interest(still have people messaging me, probably about 40 or so since thread was started) and a test turbo, everything was sent out. me and david(bullseye) actually agreed together to stay with a single bat before making a double. now thats its finished, my work is done. and i'm quite happy with the results.

This is a great upgrade for the price. I think a lot of people are just scared its going to turn into another EFR in which BEP can't get the materials needed to create/assemble the wheels into the turbos which is why they are ready to get this cheap mild upgrade in power. There shouldn't be any issue though as they have a CNC machine at their disposal and most everything is designed by them other than the new seals and bearings installed that I'd hope Borg Warner has a good supply of. Plus there isn't an indy series that will take the batmowheel away from us at this moment in time...

I would be nervous on getting one. They have been expoding quite a bit. And the 5-axis CNC is in denmark not in house or even in the country. It a few week wait from the time they send in the wheel to the time they get them back as well as more to put in stock. They just have a stock wheel scanned and add the nipples on the tips, make it out of billet and call it a day.

Sources?
Edit: Looks like a lot of the diesel guys that have had failures were spraying their daily drivers, which is just asking for trouble.
I've edited this post like 4 times now, but I figured I'd just keep adding to it as I read. One of the guys that had a batmofailure was spraying his daily driver Cummins at 50+ PSI which caused the turbo to overspeed and cause torsional stress on the shaft and bearings of the turbo. They gave way and chewed his compressor housing to pieces.
Even though this dude caused the failure of the wheel/turbo, Bullseye replaced everything. Sounds like a winner to me.
