I was given numbers close to spec and exedy with the flywheel. But will hold alot more. They are currently working on 4 in house builds as well as customer cars and trying to juggle a few things for the cobalt. Very busy at there shop. Shouldn't be long but definitly before spring

Since mine is a DD but I need something to hold 400+ wtq, I'm prob going with a Spec stage 2+ in the spring from Werks. Only other mod I might do is an intercooler sometime. It has enough power to smoke second and break loose in third when I punch it if the clutch holds now. Enough for me.

Here was my thought process when I bought one:
- Wanted a clutch that had more holding power than stock (ruled out Spec 1 and 2 pretty much)
- Didn't want a hybrid kevler/carbon-graphite clutch as I heard that the material can sometimes split (rules out Spec 2+)
- Didn't want pucks as I've heard multiple people talk about rough engagment and shorter life (rules out Spec 3 and others)
- Didn't want a clutch that was riveted so DD would still be an option and would be easier on the powertrain (ruled out Spec 4 and 5)
- Didn't need a new flywheel and was advised/warned by a vender that actually carries them to stay away from light flywheels for our particular application (ruled out Exedy and made an impression on me that they shot me straight)
That basically left me with Spec 3+.

how many ppl rune spec stage 4 with out light flywheel? in fact how many ppl running upgraded clutch with the stock flywheel? i knew there was issues on cobalts with light flys. .... Glhs379 where did u get the clutchmasters i didnt know they had one out for the TC yet. the SC clutchs change the pedal and u need to rune the sc flywheel with it so im not going that path. Im not worried about streetable driving it is my daily driver but i have drove a stage 5 spec'd cars as a dd before and i got no issues. I personally want a puck clutch.

so far i love my clutch
i got it from my local guy who installed it called epic tuning in allentown pa.
clutch was 630 and 400 to install.
but online, i found modernperformance to have them the cheapest so far.
reused the stock flywheel at 13,000 miles, and no issues.
bites A HELL of alot better than the stocker
