55/55 so in is 55mm while exhaust is 55mm. In isn't to bad but it's 2mm larger then a 20g/bnr and exhaust is smaller so top end will fall . And in order to support 510hp then that would be 650-750cfm turbo. I could see it but it's not gonna hold its own up top. But only way the said power will be seen is going way over efficiency and high octane. But should still be a good turbo

Thats what im looking for in a turbo...still in its efficiency range at the top end. Pulling all the way to 7k and wants to go further.

So as for the revised BNR, looks like for $300 you will get a new lighter compressor wheel that will spool quicker and hold boost better up top.

Instead of making the compressor housing slightly bigger. Why not make the exhaust turbine AR slightly larger for better top end power. I understand more lag, but its pretty much a tiny turbo still lol..

Diizzamm, You got my interest sparked now! So now this BNR will Spool quicker? Cause thats the reason why I really wasent considering it before, Whats the spool time? Any where close to stock?

It actually does help a bit with traction to have that slight delay but I get what you're saying.

oh okay, anyone know when the revised ones will be out?
Plus, does it come with all the hardware to bolt-on? if not, what else is needed?

Too much negativity around the Hahn setup, even though it looks to make good numbers, and its mad cheap, i may just do a damn BNR...lol

the BNR comes with everything except a BOV, which you will need. its easy to install, take off the stock turbo, put on the BNR. done!

although bending the stock coolant/ oil lines was a PITA for me. I talked to Brian and he said he could include some hoses and fittings to make it way easier to install. id ask him about that if you order one.

and i imagine every BNR from here on out will be the "revised" version.

So all we would need is Upper CP with BOV and we are good to go? This may be the route that I go.

Supporting mods, like the ones you already have, are necesary, I would say. You dont NEED a new upper CP for the BOV. I had my Injen upper CP cut into and modified for the BOV I wanted to run. If you want a clean start then, yeah, you can spend the extra cash and buy yourself a BOV ready upper CP. Its up to you.

i never dynoed with the tune finished.

i was running basically a base tune for a couple weeks since me and area ran into some issues tuning (for some reason my stock boost solenoid just wouldn't work properly).

There was a dyno day and it was $30 for me to hit the rollers so i figured why not.

area47 told me not to expect high #'s at all because he needed to finish my tune.

on 25 psi i was hitting about 350whp. cranked it up to about 26-27 and hit 364whp. I run 29 psi on Kill and id imagine if i was on that base tune still itd be around 375whp or so.

Now that the tune is finished, i really need to dyno again because the car feels a bit faster than it did before the tune was finished.

he spent like 2 full days tuning my car. lol. first day took so long because of the boost issue, the second time he was just very thorough. Hes a wonderful tuner.

And not to disagree with Dart but it took me all of 30 seconds to bend the coolant feed line. If you remove it from the hose it's connected to and put it in a vice, it's so easy.

The oil feed on the other hand can be a pain. I found that if you push up and then use the compressor housing as leverage you can bend the oil feed with it and it will fit right on. The other two lines are cake.

The person that bought mine got a sweet deal that's all I know.

Maybe Cubaniche can post the info I sent him about making your own lines. The coolant lines are M14 x 1.5 banjo but the oil feed is some other thread pitch and I can't remember what.
