the hahn 20g is plug and play too, you just have to have a bov for it.
if the wr2 was much lower, i would be all over it, but the zzp zfr is good, or the hahn 20g with all the hahn adapting parts. Like i said above, 435whp/404wtq on 26psi and 93 gas and the power comes in a little later to be safer on the motor/tranny, but that is basically maxed out on that turbo. The ZFR is capable of much more power, so it all depends on where you are headed. But most on here wanna push the limits, but not go past them with the car, so 400-450whp is plenty without major work on the engine/tranny.

I would ideally like to be at 400 whp 400 wtq non E85. its not that I dont like E85, its just not that abundant around here.

Yeah I don't want a BOV, I'd have to get rid of my current parts or get them modded, figure out recirculation or VTA, MAF relocation...

I'd much rather get ZFR instead of dealing with the HAHN, but I do like the fact it's safer on tranny and not sure but it sounds like traction too. Maybe Hahn is a viable option over WR-2. I don't know

corn isnt worth the hassle......e47 is a good blend on the lnf. power can be made on 93 as well. ive proved it.

Well I have the Zzp EFR and yes it is a slight issue. If you're on stock charge pipes like I am, no issues. It's a silicone coupler that you probably just need to extend depending on the charge pipe etc. Not too big of a deal.

I was on 91, just moved to e47. Amazing is all I have to say. Gas runs out a little quicker though, but it's worth it. Hopefully dyno this weekend.. Maybe.

I personally definitely can't agree with you on this one. Sure, it can be more of a hastle, but the power potential is a no brainer over 91 or 93, not to mention how much more forgiving the fuel is to run when pushing the limits.

Is there a dyno graph kicking around anywhere?

he said he was at 400whp/402wtq before the springs and new tune. then 435/404..he has the whole hahn setup with the recirculation tube and everything

I think he may have meant running straight E85 isn't worth the hassle which I can see where he's coming from. I enjoyed E47 but couldn't stand mixing after about 6 mos of it so I got the cam and went straight. Gas mileage was AWFUL but the smells were awesome. But yeah, I can see how running straight E85 just isn't worth it bc you have the same power availability on E47 with less fueling issues.

I'd definitely be curious to see what the graph looks like. 435whp seems a tad high for 93 but I suppose anything is possible.

Ahh, yeah in that case I could see where he's coming from more or less. Truth be told, whether it's straight e85 or an eblend of some sort, it obviously can be a pain in the ass for sure but it's still worth it to me. Straight e85 you have to constantly keep an eye on your trims to make sure the ethanol content hasn't been changed on you, and obviously e47 has to be blended and is even more difficult when the blends change. I know you have dealt with all of this yourself, so you're fully aware of the bs that comes along with it but I just can't put down my corn pipe after smoking it for so long! (sorry for the awful pun.. lol) The system I've been using for the past year and a half of the almost 2 years now of running e47 has worked out really well for me thus far, but it still has its draw back due to the simple fact that e85 just isn't readily available in my area.

what is the difference in gas mileage from e85-e47?? i'm wanting to go e47 but idk if i'd get sick of the gas money more often and mixing it perfectly...lol. but hey everyone says it's worth it.

On straight E85 I was getting about 200ish miles per tank. That was on the BNR and I like to get into it here and there. I'm sure you could squeak out a bit more but you don't go E85 to get better gas mileage right? ;-) On E47 I was getting probably 20%-30% better mileage.

Obviously it doesn't take into account gearing, transmission losses, traction, and aerodynamics, but it's at least a rough idea if you're doing paper racing.
... Or FWD vs RWD

And lets face it;
RWD > FWD

A part of me would like to go a little crazy...
But then the Deutschlander in me takes over with it's sound logic

Well what do you know I've heard that too. Can you show us how it's done and what is needed exactly? PS is there a way to make it a BB instead of JB? The lag one your video was too much lol.

John is spot on with this comment(As usual lol). I had been running 93 for the last couple of years in my LSJ and my LNF, See E is not really readily available in my area, But after talking with John and my Tuner I decided to go E47 and I don't think that I could ever go back, The power is insane and What a difference! Do "normal" people think I'm crazy for taking a 5 gallon gas can with me when I get low on gas? Yes they do, But it's worth the extra HP and TQ IMO.

I do this too.

I figure if I'm going to go out of my way to go get some E, then I might as well make the trip more worthwhile so I don't spend as much gas/money going back and forth. I started with a cheapo 5 gal tank and graduated to 2 VP Racing 5+ gallon jugs.

Those jugs were designed for all sorts of exotic racing fuels, so they're pretty much everything proof, and pour a heck of a lot better/faster than all those cheapo gas cans, because they're for "offroad use only". I figure I fill up my car when it's not on the road, so I qualify. lol

Tip: For anybody considering these, the caps on these have a spout that screws into the top (sold separate). You'll need a 1/2" drive wrench or something to take the top cap in and out. I didn't know if there was a special tool that was needed or something, and found that the 1/2" works perfect.

Just make sure you use the E in a timely manner. It's extremely hygroscopic and will "spoil" quickly. Don't matter what kind of gas can you got unless you can store it sealed under a nitrogen blanket which is not likely in most cases.

My turbo flows quite a bit. It's 950/975cfm.... I took out my buddy Scotty out again. He rode I it each step I've had it. He hated the 400/420whp setup 20g, but loved my old 25g. So I did this and this time it's actually a little bigger. He said he couldn't breathe and his chest hurt. Haha. I wanna ride passenger..... Come drive for me?
