You havent gone for a ride in mine. Considering it has few mods (Boss IM, CAI, Tune, TB) it will make you will say wow as it revs to my 7800 rpm shift point (8000 RPM rev limiter LOL). Stock the coyote does not feel omg fast but once you mod and tune one they become very fast. There is a stock longblock one running 9s at 137 mph with just boltons, weight reduction and a race gas tune

no we credit you back... for instants if you pay everything via VISA we would credit your visa card back. unless you want store credit but thats on you.
i dont think the k04+ will give you 400whp in all honesty unless its a happy dyno. we max it out at 375 so thats where im leaving the numbers. as far as a sheet metal intake goes.... dont waste your money on it. for 400whp its not worth it.

David, im sure your car hauls ass and feels a lot faster than my balt, it feels slow as a turtle even at 160...lol

Honestly man I wouldn't trade the Balt. Performance wise I doubt you will regret it, but $300 more a month in ur pocket is a big deal man. You could have everything you want out of ur balt with that cash. I say just keep the Balt and once you pay it off look to get something.

If ur happy with the car then what does it matter what other people think? I'd love some of those tools to say that to some of us bigger number Cobalt guys. I had a guy running his mouth not too long ago with a 2012 5.0 with intake an exhaust. Did a 40 and I spun so he pulled early but reeled him in by 90 and had 2 cars by 120...also did a 60 and pulled on him hard. I love the new 5.0's but i do love my cobalt and upsetting people

yeah, when my car wasnt broken, i raced a guy in his late 40's in a 2012 grandsport, convertible, Auto vette, and i had him by a half car at the end of a 40-120 rol and then he started pullingl, but he about **** his pants, and i rolled a new 2012 5.0 that was stock by 2 cars to 120 then he started pulling as well.
It is fun to beat or even keep up with cars that are unexpected, and thats what makes me like the cobalt...

Yea I mean you can't deny the performance factor or a RWD v8..from a dig they are a load of fun. But honestly with most v8's I will run into on the highway, I will take my Cobalt haha

the coyote motor is great but the rest of the car is mediocre imho. like i said with the right mods though it can be made a whole lot better. the 2013 model has great apperence.

Where in gods name does it even make sense to be going from your current payment to $600 payments? I'm guessing you have a damn good job with job security and wifey along with your child are good with mula going into a new car. Personally(and this applies to any car in general) being 2yrs away would be a goal I would come through with. Looks good on credit, free's some more mula up and its good on gas. If a stealership were to give me 9500 for it and be upside down on top of it, that would be a sign. Aaron, also being 32 I would expect more of a "and so what" answer to your "FRIENDS" that make fun of you. Do as you please but think things through first. Have you looked for a 13' Mustang that has already been traded back in? Pre-owned for a few weeks or a month or two? Those happen all the time and you don't pay premium price as you do with getting it spanking new. I bought new once and never again. Learned my lesson with the mount of money lost just buying new. I'll be in FL next weekend. We should meetup or something and talk this some more. Turns out you're not much older than me. Lol

Meh it does not feel as fast as it really is. It lacks the big midrange torque hit that a stock turbo LNF has but once it gets past 5000 RPMs it pulls really hard. If anything sell your car because you can get about 13,500 for it roughly vs 9500 on trade in. If you have more than 13500 left to payoff the cobalt then just keep it for now.

i dont have to... ive ridden in plenty of modded mustangs. we work on them regularly. gt500s, boss 302s, 5.0s and so forth. nothing seems to impress me anymore if all you can do is go in a straightline unless it makes 800whp+ im over straightline racing for the time being. i still appreciate well done and well built cars though but i done gawk over the fact that its a 5.0 mustang.

You do realize that with just a couple suspensions mods a 5.0 will outhandle a SS/TC. Stock they run right with the E-92 M3s on the track. Stock ultimate grip is very good it just lacks the body control that the much lighter SS/TC has which can easily be solved by better tires, new springs, swaybars and control arms.

Thats why I said with a few mods it will change. There's a million x's more aftermarket support that will put a lot further then a cobalt even with suspension mods. There's a ton of beyond great companies making good parts for the mustangs. Imhappy with the cobalt though. Good daily, good on gas, makes some what OK power and is a good track car for me. Is there better? Of coarse I don't deny it but my last track day proved what a stock powered lnf with a good suspension could do. My last hpde session of the season I lapped my class my included a boss 302, 2 5.0s, a 2011 gt500, a prepped civic, 400whp rx7, c5 c06, c6, another lnf cobalt, a gd sti, evolution and a few others. Wish I had the money to buy a go pro this session but I was struggling just to make the track days this year financially but it is what it is. Only video I got is from my boss that video tapped a short call lip of me passing the c5 z06. None the less all those cars should of been able to beat me up pretty good and in the straights they did but other then that I was able to get um.
Anyways term let's keep this thread on topic. If you wanna continue the conversation feel free to shoot me a pm.

And as far as my personal life, yes I have a decent job at Coastal Orthopedics/sports medicine, and no wife...lol

that is key right there lmao! although their are some good women out there not having a wife can make life easy in a lot of situations. although i wouldnt trade my girlfriend for anything. sure she bitches and moans about the car and stuff here and there but when im at the track or working on it shes always there for support.

Mine always complains about the money I spend on my car. I am about to do seperate accounts so she cant have a say in it anymore. but thats another topic lol
Keep the LNF. 600 a month is a lot for a mustang and you can make good power on your LNF. who cares if you are 32 with a cobalt, there are 60 year olds with Cobalts. A car is a car and someone will always hate on it

btw, i owe 12k on my car and it needs a new clutch, valve springs and hpfp right now, so i am ordering that stuff as soon as I can this week before i decide on the turbo setup, but wanna do the turbo and clutch at the same time to help on the labor.
Back on topic now...hahaha
