be unique and different get the WR2...

That's what's lacking in this community, it's like a heard of sheep all just go whichever way the wind is blowing. You don't see alot of other companies creating products because when they do people just keep going to the same company..(btw that was not directed towards you) lol

you will not be dissapointed with the WR2 or ZFR

On something cheap maybe, a $2000 turbo, I think most people will go with what's proven. That's why the ZFR is doing well.

@kdub1492

yeha im seriously considering the WR2, ive been in contact with Pwerks ppls and like what i hear. however the ZFR sppols like stock and puts me right around where i feel ill be running the car (350ish-375). i doubt ill need to build the motor at that point and i dont plan on building it this year, hence why i want "safe" numbers.

either of these turbos are capable of those numbers easily, its a tough call to make

You also have to remember that something that is "spooling close to stock" is not always a good thing. If you are on stock clutch/trans it's going to be a time bomb at 400HP

Yes the ZFR is proven and rightly so...

But if more people would look outside the small box that most look in they would see there are many turbos out there that are GREAT..Pwerks line of turbo's being one of them. PTE turbos in general are awesome...but everyones stuck on EFR's haha

My buddy is doing a custom turbo swap on his hhr and has been looking at the gtx3076. matt at zzp said that "the surge threshold sucks" on the gtx3076

Now while i never plotted the compressor map, the map looks insane. And with the anti surge housing i dont really see it hitting the surge line but i suppose its possible.

Once again, people are "stuck" on the EFR bc it's been proven. I'm sure when other companies spend the time and money proving their products more will follow.

We get it though, you went PWerks and now you have to bring it up in every single post. Since you are the prototype, maybe you should start making videos showing off what it can do instead just saying its great. Personally I haven't seen anything besides pictures. There isn't even a compressor map or anything.

Please tell me what you would like a video of? I would be more then happy to provide a video for you? There hasn't been much because it's dead of winter in Illinois. You can ask anyone who knows me and my car has not been out just like many others. What is the difference between me putting in my input? People do it every single day with TTR, ZZP, Turbo XS. Do you understand the cost of a compressor MAP? When no one takes the chance to buy the turbo the cost of doing so is not worth it in all honesty. I don't work for Pwerks or have any involvment in the company but when I deal with a great company I am going to get it out there.

This is me personally, but being on a stock motor i would prefer there be a small delay followed by a smooth gradual increase in power rather than a turbo capable of huge power that hits hard instantly....tons of stress on the rods and drivetrain components IMO.

lol, i get paid tomorrow, so i gotta figure out which one I want.
I really wanted to save up for a wr-2 or just do a K04+, but those prices are much cheaper than even a used turbo would be, so i would be stupid to pass it up....
I am waiting for Term2 to reply back to my text to see what he thinks he can do with either turbo for a tune, and then i will make my choice...
I still wont be able to install it till i get my clutch and fuel situation fixed though.
