If i ran it the way it sits now i would put down a decent time. No doubt

^^^^ Thank you, the car is done. I'm just not in SD but on a boat. I mentioned this to you in another thread. Work comes before hobbies. BNR will dyno once and then be removed.

I'm going to be purchasing zzp charge pipes and intercooler, are the maf relocate and 3bar sensors also a good idea with the zfr?

Nope but it did run a 3.8 second 60-100 time on E-47 without the 5th injector. E-85 with the 5th injector should be a bit faster. Skys have to rev to 7450 RPMs to get to 100 in 3rd vs the cobalts at 6200 RPMs in 3rd. That tends to make Kappas a few tenths slower than a comparable Cobalt in that test.

That is correct. The Sky and Cobalt's gearing are the same except 3rd. Hopefully with a modified head, Ported exhaust mani(stock), port matching, 5th injector...it should be interesting what the BNR can do. I say at 26-27psi maybe 430ish. We'll see.

I am hoping to see 450-460 whp and about the same wrtq at 27 psi with your car. We will see though.

Interesting, very very interesting. Now, one question. The LNF in my car, and LNF in 40rty's car is the same correct? So why can he redline that far with the same engine and we have to rev to 6.2k rpm etc. I mean, am I able to rev that high too on a stock valve system etc?

I would really like to see a BNR vs EFR. I believe they would probably be exact. All the info you give me is almost identical to my e47 runs with my EFR.

Get the 3 Bar sensors, you'll need them for the higher boost applications, You wont need the MAF relocate especially that you aren't going to get a BOV. With a Stock BPV the ZFR is pretty loud with a intake !

He is not on the stock valvetrain. On a LNF cobalt with the way 3rd gear is I would expect a 3.5-3.6 second 60-100 run with fortys exact mods and tune.

Ohhh lmfao well I knew that. I thought in general the cars redline is 7.4k stock LOL.

We've got one of each here. They've never run each other that I know of though. It'd probably be one heck of a race. The local EFR guy whittling away on HPT claimed a 3.8 60-100 the other day. It definitely scoots. It does seem like people can get good power out of the BNR with higher boost levels too.

As far as a K04 SS/TC on E85 compared to a BNR SS/TC, here are the possibilities.

Quick shifting but clutch slip on the E85 SS/TC (camera car). BNR runs very strong.

Same two cars. This one seemed about even. Clutch slip wasn't bad on this run. The BNR had the top end while the K04 on E85 (camera car) had the torque, so it ended up being a tug-of-war. It's all about that area under the curve.

^love a good tug off war lol

Kinda like sc vs TC ... Power band issues between the two make em hard to compair

I know Forty's sky on E-85 with cams and stock turbo would be faster than his car on 91 and the BNR. Made 368 whp 446 wrtq on E-85, stock turbo at 24 psi max with the cams (stock cam angles).

E-85, stock turbo and cams = 4.1 second 60-100 with a 1.7 second 60-80 time 2.4 second 80-100 time. The sky has to rev to 7450 to get to 100 and 60 is past peak torque by 1200 RPMs or so. If it had the same 3rd gear ratio as the cobalts it likely would have been more like 1.7 seconds 60-80 and 2.1 seconds 80-100.

E-47, cams, BNR = 3.8 second 60-100 with a 2.0 second 60-80 and a 1.8 second 80-100 so top end pull to 7450 is better but midrange torque is down a bit.

E-85 cams, 5th injector, BNR =? I believe it has a 3.5-3.6 second 60-100 in it with the 5th injector and E-85 in decent air.
