The one I posted was in the dyno thread too. It was the first one I stumbled upon. Both are different though. Idk.

Both were different tunes, same turbo but one was directly after 4" intake was installed

Wonder if its the one I posted or the one 09 posted. If its the one I posted and its on the same tune, moving from a 3" to a 4" intake increased spool time by 400 rpms.

So I finally got on the dyno with my zfr the other day and figured this would be an appropriate thread to post the numbers. She put down pretty much exactly where I wanted to be power wise (421/407) so I'm quite content with where the power sits as of now. There's actually still more in the turbo if I do ever decided I need more power for whatever reason, but at this point I don't really see that happening. Here are the graphs of my stock turbo on e47 @ 25psi vs efr6758 on e35 @25.5psi. Both graphs were done on the same exact dyno, with the same mods (aside for the turbo and fuel of course) and were about a year apart in similar conditions. A 71whp gain with similar boost levels isn't so bad I would say..

lol.. hey now! I got sick of tuning all these nice turbo upgraded cars and not having anything to show for with my own damn car. I was beginning to feel a tad inadequate.

I'm still far from making big power by any means, but it's definitely a nice little bump up in the power department..

Are you still doing the 10 year debate over there, or are you ever going to finally pull the trigger on a larger turbo?

Good numbers, and nice smooth ramp. I am also impressed with your k04 numbers, they are pretty stout for a stocker.

haha.. You gotta give it to him though. He definitely fully thinks out, plans and weighs out his choices before making a brash decision. I'm just glad Aaron has a good sense of humor about getting his ***** busted about it.

The turbo is definitely working out quite wonderfully thank you very much sir. Now it's time to get your ride back on the road again!

Yeah I hear ya man. I was laid off for a good 3 months there so money was pretty tight for me for a while. Then like the mature 32 year old man that I am..... I bought a new freaking turbo!! lol

Spool time is definitely good, but very different than stock. It takes a little getting used to, or at least for me it did. You get so used to boost on demand at basically any rpm that it sort of spoils you a bit. It's honestly not bad at all though. The low end is still without a doubt there. I actually limit my boost ramp pretty similarly to the stock turbo (full boost by about 4200rpm) to avoid any sort of boost spikes so my engine and trans hold together for at least a little while. Even at that, I still made 406wtrq by like 4400rpm.

2 60-120 pulls in my car. They look slower than they are. First run I ran 3.83 60-100. Second run, I ran 3.58 60-100. Fully bolted, Zfr, 4.45 Trans, and on 93.

Looks good Sam especially considering just 93 octane not E-47 or E-35 in Johns case LOL. Damn speedo lag though LOL.

A 3.58 60-100?? The 4:45 ratio makes that much of a difference huh? Is that log verified just out of curiosity?

Hey now buddy! Leave my oddball eblend alone! Lol.. You might be surprised how well the car responds to e35 vs e47 with a larger turbo. My fueling system in particular is loving me. I see zero rail pressure drops at wot, and I don't have to kill my injection window in order to keep everything in check. Plus I'm actually able to run the exact amount of timing as I was with e47. Kind of a win-win if ya ask me..

4.45 makes a huge difference I'm putting down 4.0's. It's insane the difference that it makes. Yeah your mpgs suck but it's totally worth it lol.

Wert seeing those numbers makes me excited to see what my car does when I get my zfr on since ill be on full e I remember you saying you can't get e where your at but Ik that you can buy it by the 55 gallon drum as e98 then just mix it to be e85 and bam! More powweerrr.

My best time on my ko4 with e47 was a 4.09, so it is doable, but I'd still be curious to see a 3.5 on 93 in a log. I pull pretty consistent 3.6-3.7 60-100's at 421whp, granted it's on the stock trans, but I'd still be curious to see it in a log. I'm not saying it's not possible. I'm just the type of person that likes hard numbers in graph or spread sheet form..

Term confirmed one was a 3.6, but what's .02. Lol. Regardless it definitely pulls super nice with the Zfr, 4.45, and on 93. We had problems with the misfire window multiple times for like a week, but in the end we got it nailed down. So don't be hating on me and my baby! Still doing a couple logs here and there to get my car running smooth as hell with the new trans.

I love how it pulls in just about any gear and about any rpm. I'd love to get a drum of E, but I really have no where to store it, it does go bad after sitting for so long, and I've had my fair share of problems on 93 as is.

I went on vacation to Hershey and still managed 37mpg on the highway at 70mph at 3k basically the whole way along with doing a couple pulls here and there. Got 210 miles on a half tank. Lol. On the way back though, I was a little bit more ruthless and was being a badass and managed 32mpg. Every since Saturday night I'm at 25mpg through everything.

It ran a best of 3.8 stock trans but was not as consistent as it is now as the runs varied up to half a second or a bit more (slowest run 4.35). Best run I saw with the new trans was a 3.0 from 60-95 but he shifted at 95 on that run. If he had E closer it would be even better. IMHO not bad on 93.

What is the 100% right way to do a 60-100 I've heard a bunch of different ways do you start at 60 or do you hit 60 at full boost.

Looks fast as hell Wert. That 4.45 tranny definitely makes a different. I feel a difference going from the 3.82 to the 4.05 LSJ tranny and I can't imagine how much different yours is. I need to get my **** running asap **** my life.

Usually its 60-130, and you can start at 40 roll or w/e you want. It starts from 60-130 or 100 if you want that's how they measure it. Most people with 600-1000whp use vbox to verify their times. 6speedonline and bimmerboost both have times if you want to compare.
