Direct bolt-on turbo (ko4 replacement)
#1451
I hear ya. I've been running the Zfr since may and I'm not even pushing it at 26lbs daily and I want more. I can always get more parts, get meth, or whatever to make even more power. I love how its a big v8 ego breaker. I've thought about selling it next spring and get a bigger kit, but I love how responsive and aggressive it is at the same time.

thanks wert, I appreciate the kind words...lol
It sucks being a single dad with a 15 year old, so taking care of her does come before buying a turbo for my car brother...
the upgraded BNR has been my choice for almost a year now, so when I CAN get one, I will, thanks....

I'd love to bro. I'm in Fresno, IDK how far that is from where you're from. There's a few balt ss here but none of them seem to be on this forum. About 2 ss/sc and 2 ss/tc. However, I hardly ever see them. They only come out once every blue moon and the never race, they just drive and cruise around so I never really got to talk to them. Need more balts here! LOL

What went wrong with your car bro? I'm still running stock turbo and blew up my intercooler while racing. LOL Since your're running bigger turbo, I can only imagine it must be something bigger and more expensive. LOL

You still going to be running the WR3?
I blew my trans like a month ago. Just little things here and there now though.

Very interested to see how that all turns out. Definitely wanna see how many ponies you can crank out with that block too!
I think we are all still waiting for the big numbers on that 25g set up. Then we will meet somewhere in the middle of the states and have a go!

I hit 24 psi today with the MBC. 43lbs/min on MAF reading, pretty much not tuned at all lol. This turbo will be monster once dialed in. Imagine racegas! LOL

Do you think not having the MBC was your problem?
I'm trying to get something set up with my one buddy. He keeps telling me he only runs it hard on a nice days. It's been like 65-70* and sunny here and says it's not good enough weather for maximum power. He only runs it early summer or October at the track to get the super low DAs. Any other time he takes out to places to eat and to the drive ins. That's it. He's a douche...

For now it looks like not having an MBC was some issue. Now I gotta get that spring. Once that is in and if it's stil the same. Then I know its the turbo. But I doubt it if it's flowing 43lbs/min it should be okay.

No, I really didn't NLS other than when I was at the track. It shattered third from doing waaayyyy tooo many third gear pulls. It was just a matter of time though. It held up strong with the zfr for the time it was in there. Zfr hasn't really caused me any problems. I'm actually getting the same MPGs as with stock turbo if not more.
