Doing a turbo swap, s257sx-e, need suggestions to tie up a few of my questions.

Hey guys,

So I am doing a S257sx-e swap in the next few weeks. Along with a LSJ trans being put in with clutch ect. The tune will be by my boy KM043 of which I will post up dyno specs after all is said and done. Soo Here are my questions.

#1 coolant lines need blocked, anyone know the fitting size to block them off google hasnt been very helpful.

#2 Stock boost controller, anyone have experience using the stock boost controller on external wastegate, if so will it work or should I get a manual?

#3 Oil fittings, I was just going to purchase the ZZP oil line kit, I believe BW requires a -4an fitting, would this kit work?

#4 good place to resurface the flywheel for the new clutch?

Lastly, im flipping stocked, you have no ideal.........

goals are in the higher 400's range but regardless, I know KM043 will do me right and get that tune locked in tight.

#1 the LSJ fitting will delete the turbo crossover tube the threads are a M14 size I just don't know the pitch off the top of my head

#2 use the stock solenoid then I can tune the ramp and overall boost

#3 the EFR uses a -4an so yes you can use it

#4 Buy new flywheel don't resurface

You'll make tons of power as long as we can get the fuel to back it up. It should be easy 500s

The lsj fitting for the coolant overflow tank doesn't have the provision for the turbo. List sounds good

Just take the coolant banjo bolt to oreillys, match the threads, and plug with new bolt.

You might need zzps 3.5" intake depending on the comp cover. You'll also need a new tob, pipe, flywheel bolts, ect for the clutch/flywheel unless it comes with.

Make sure you get the 10psi bov spring.

You can get away with resurfacing the flywheel once, if its not extensive.

Yea I haven't updated that thread in a while.

I was, but the $350 plus some custom work, vs $1000, changed my mind. This turbo is a blast so far, only at 22 psi, 93, stock longblock, 4.45 with bearing noise so I'm swapping it with a 4.05. Then I'll probably turn it up to 25psi. I'm using a custom t3 .63 vband turbine, although I think it's more like a .55 from what others speculated on dsm forums.
