Got the TurboXS GT exhaust. Will probably put it on the car on Thursday. Exhaust looks really good. Question though. Ive never put together a exhaust coupling with an exhaust clamp like pictured below. One pipe slides over the over and then I clamp it down but the question is...

Do I overlap the clamp on both pipes or just on the larger diameter pipe. Look at pics for what Im talking about.

The notches in the larger diameter pipe tell me the coupler should overlap since they arent that big but the coupler is saying just clamp the larger pipe since it does not have a dimpled step down size to it to make a snug fit to the smaller diameter pipe.

Just want to make sure its air tight and do it right.

Turboxs GT exhaust

tiny dent in resonator but easily fixable with a dent puller lol.

think the shipping guy threw a box on to it.

exhaust clamp question. Like this?

or like this?

Yes. You flush the end of the clamp withthe emd of the slip joint or an 1/8 inch before the end and clamp it down. Retighten after a few heat cycles

you can tell the exhaust tip the body shop used was like a whole inch bigger than turboxs's. Buy the way, wifes equinox has a new chevy performance exhaust tip.
