Nice video. Can't wait to get on a dyno with GMS1 and K&N. Hopefully the numbers aren't too far behind yours.

Might be a silly question but will altitude affect numbers on the dyno?

Altitude / temp about everything can affect dyno numbers. Also correction factor etc.

^ Pretty much this-that proves your car is black..
I won't start with accusations so hypothetically how could a Stage 1 car cut that time/trap ? All bolt ons (not "custom tuned" for mind you) , ported head/throttle body? (ditto) , traction aids (slicks/chains/bags/etc) , meth/water/nos , gutting the car/empty tank , turbo upgrade ,vac tank bypass, wikd awsome driver mod..Am I forgetting anything?

"GMS1, cattless DP, charge pipes and at the time a hahn CAI" he says. And the dyno does not represent a 12.7 sec car.

Exactly-so do you think it's feasible at all with more mods,Andrew? (Short of gutting the car?)

The trap isn't unless its a downhill track. Also you should know the tq management in the stock GMS1 tune kills your 60 ft. You only can get 50% of tq in first gear. With gutted and slicks, a few more mods it wouldn't be possible, because of the custom tuning needed for the new intake tract. (The maf would be skewed all to hell killing the numbers.)

fixed.

same said for E/T's.

This is why there are correction factors.

Really though as I heard in the video (which took FOREVER to load btw) usig any dyno numbers as a baseline - is really where a dyno becomes a tool;
you can't really compare different cars, on different dynos, in different vicinities ~ becasue they are all variables which attribute to difference...

car looked great though

I'd like to think I'm a good driver. I just posted my times. The NHRA natls were held there the weekend before. It was perfect conditions IMHO. The car ran well. I dunno what else I can say. No wonder everybody left this forum. Yes my spare was removed, trunk was gutted, interior was still full.

You also have to remember I have a weird wastegate. I spike and hold 26psi on the GMS1 as my Facebook shows. So does my dealership record. I made sure I made a record of it in case something happened.

Spiking and holding 26 PSI on the GMS1 is very odd. Also you would be doing all this on stock timing. Seems a lil fishy holding 26 PSI on the GMS1 tune.

But if this is true, it would make sense, but it wouldn't mean you are running a stock GMS1 tune (The boost levels for that tune are leveling around 21PSI). 26 PSI makes the turbo a heat factory too. So even that this is all possible. 26 PSI makes this car no longer "stock GMS1 tune." You have a very nice dealer.

I think someone may be on "pills"(j/k-PUN INTENDED HERE). Helluva good run and so much the better if on GM tune.

At 26 PSI on GMS1 tune he is over a full second faster than you and has 10 MPH on ya.... I still think its odd.

Yeah, for sure. I know 23psi at this altitude isn't quite the same amount of air as a lower altitude as either. Probably more comparable to airflow you'd see at around 19-20psi at an altitude closer to sea level.

FRQ FLYR's GMS1 + bolt-on times seem much more believeable to me. He's only trapping 3mph faster and 5 tenths quicker E/T. It doesn't make much sense to me that a car only running GMS1 can match or out-trap most cars running HPT/Trifecta that are putting down well over 300whp. And trap is more based on power than driver skill, unlike E/T.

Also with a dyno of ~277WHP....
