would somebody be kind enough to provide me with a link to this bpv on their website?

I have been searching it and can't find it.

If this cures my gms1 issues i will be happy.

thanks.

Most GM 1 problems arise from wiring and/or sensor fitments..not the BPV.

:face palm:

You don't need to tune for this bpv. No problems here with it.

two emails back and forth...

The only way to make your car run properly with an aftermarket blow off valve, you will either need to recirculate it or have the car tuned for a blow through MAF with this pipe: Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

It is not A BOV it is still A BPV...

It does the same thing. It blows off when you were in boost and you let off the gas.

Thank you for your business,

dude that new hot side pipe is too add a BOV and block off the stock bpv. Some people run both though....And they do NOT do the same thing. the bpv recirculates the air back into the intake system and a BOV vents it to the atmosphere.

yes i know, if you read the second email, zz replies it is the same thing and does not refrence it not to need tuning.. in my email i told him it was a forged BPV but still does not rebuttle needing to be tuned..

I too was thrown off by zz's reply to the BPV..

I installed the Forge last night with the yellow (stiffer) spring. No surging or flutter on the drive today, just nice crisp action. I wonder if the MAF relocate on mine helps discourage any flutter/surge since it's downstream now of any severe pressure waves in the intake tract? I could see a pressure wave on the MAF sensor causing some oscillation.

Tom, any reason you went with the heavier spring? I have heard that the heavier spring is not necessary?

It probably isn't, but I like to try things for myself. I'll run this one a week or so and pop in the green one. 100 miles and a few pulls, no surge or flutter. I boost 24 psi.
