Forge Motorsport | Alloy Fabrication

MY guess is its this one since no one answered your question. This is for an ASTRA VXR or the CORSA VXR which just so happens to use the same K04 turbo that our car uses... They are LNF engine cars.

Can someone answer his question cause I too am interested in this.

great review, defeats the purpose of having an atmospheric bov, until you go bigger turbo.

I had a forge bpv on my ms3...LOVED the noise. I was wondering why they didnt make one for the lnf....well hahah they do.

The one thing I liked about forge's, is that it came with shim's and multiple springs. I see yours only came with 2 springs? But there is a spring kit that you can order from forge that will come with 4 springs and shims

http://forgemotorsport.com/content.a...roduct=FMDVTUN

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI

The above figures are estimates only and should only be considered as a guideline

Please note - fitting a stronger spring into a valve will not increase boost pressure unless existing pressure is being lost. Failure to allow the valve to operate by installing a spring which is to strong may cause damage to the turbocharger.

Please note - the red coded springs should not be installed in the DVR or DV007 diaphragm valves

Looks like a nice solid piece and a niece upgrade for those that hate the stock piece or cut the diaphram.

mine never sticks and all i did was slap it on the car... does its job just fine and it was 19* this morning... the stock BPV was horrible about sticking and causing it to surge at light throttle... i can hear it open and close much more often with my AEM intake than i could the stock BPV... it also seems to have calmed down the cold start surge to an extent...

I think it should be the first mod done to your car... before a downpipe or any other stuff... reliability ftw

Where are you folks applying the grease? So the consensus is that the heavier spring is not necessary even when pushing 24 psi on the stock turbo?

Just now saw the review, good job man, damn near overkill for it lmao.

Shouldve ripped the e-brake in the snow and power on into the driveway.
