There was, the K04+, but that thing was nearly $1300.

Also, this thing The Home of WERKSracing products!

So while the K04+ wasn't worth the $1300, I see the K04R worth the $500 since you should get the same bump but at a much cheaper price.

I love my KO4+ and am eager to see how this turbo does. Its a good deal at $500 compared to mine that cost 1299, but i have alot of faith in mine lasting due to precision making it. A zfr would be fun, but i just dont see what everyone loves about a car that's not more usable in 1st and 2nd, than a ko4 car is. If these cars hooked, i would have been one of the 1st to buy a zfr. I cant hardly hook till 3rd gear anyway, why make it even worse to have a great 3rd and 4rh gear?

Yes its proven, on a slightly aggressive tune (the wastegate wasnt slammed shut the entire time) I put 350whp/360wtq on a mustang dyno, the turbo is only 1250ish plus a 500 core. i have over 15k miles on it.

Exactly. Unless you wanna be a dyno queen or doing 60 rolls it's not worth it especially for DDs

The batmowheel upgrade that everyone put money on and went poof. That's the one that came to my mind first.

Well I haz RWD LNF so I can actually hook in 2nd with the ZFR at 24 psi and full spool at 3,100 . It's so much fun.

agreed, we are all eager for a dyno, but do you before you go rushing off, no need to rush it and chance something breaking

Drive the car like you plan on driving it. Clutch break in is overrated. Just one good heat cycle.

Yep, I used to be. Even with the few mods I had it took some seriously sticky tires to keep from lighting up 2nd gear every time. If this turbo can just extend the useable power of the K04 to redline, it'll be a worthwhile upgrade for most people I'm sure.

If you get you're dealer to install it they'll know it's not stock. So what do you think? It'smachined out pretty good
