Also you should check the turbo for play because if you have tons of play and the shaft gets scratched up really bad then the core is worthless

i had to cut one of my crappy 7/8 wrenches so i could fit it on the o2 sensor, i couldn't believe how tight it was. but a proper wrench would be way smarter

I took off the O2 housing then off the car I took off the sensor

Couldn't hold out anymore. Just got a hell of a deal on the Powell pcv system and a used zfr. Should be arriving this weekend. Got someone coming to verify that the turbo is good and I'll be installing the month prior to me leaving to go back to the states. Hopefully everything checks out good! Paid through PayPal so all is safe.

Get the zfr from the begin inning when I first got my car. In fact my car is perfectly set up for it. I just couldn't justify the price they were asking. However when this deal came up for both I had to jump on it! Couldn't beat the price!

Off topic a little but, if not going with a direct bolt on turbo like the zfr and instead going with something like a s256et, what extra is needed? Just a bov? It still fits in the same spot right?

no it's a kit that is needed. Manifold, BOV, DP, coldpipe with maf rel, hotpipe, intake

i dunno about performance shops, but 700 in labor is about 12 hrs worth of labor IMO for average shops, hell i know restoration shops that only charge 70 an hour, i would say a decent price for an install should be around 450, just my opinion tho (i work at a body shop, with a mechanical shop)

I don't think it's hard to do if you have the common hand tools and if you're a newb a solid weekend should get the job done
