Matt can do ceramic coating and a bearing coating but it already spools fast so I'd get the ceramic coating but the actuator is a must.

The actuator is just to hold high boost at red line, right?

If you can't flow the air boosting spikes is a waste of time. all the actuator will do is help sustain boost. On the stock turbo I usually would boost 26psi spikes and fall back to about 23 24. I intend to do this and sustain 25.

High Pressure Wastegate came in. According to TurboBay, it has a 12 psi rating. Looks very similar to the EFR wastegate but it attached to a cobalt specific bracket to allow direct bolt on to the factory turbo.

I was the one that did the testing on that I did it in a different way but the outcome is the same you need 10+psi spring pressure to hold boost.

I held 30psi at 6500rpm and I have logs to prove it but at the end of the day it's $500 buy it it's a lot if fun and this is from a guy with a way faster car....

That's the max I can get out of it with the medium actuator. I'm buying a dual port turbosmart and throwing on my ported head w springs and shooting for 500 wheel

Cool let me know how it goes, theres not much info out there on the 7163 for power. I haven't ran across anyone who tuned one besides James, I'm sure John or David have though.
