Goodies came in the mail...but...

I received my ZZP upper charge pipe today but for the life of me I cannot figure out what this 3rd hole goes to...??? The instructions do not reference this hole. I'm awaiting a reply from ZZP currently.

Now if this in fact does belong here...then could someone perhaps point me to what it connects to?

That's what I though...but I don't have a BOV...nor do I want one I'm using the factory BPV...They don't list a BOV flange as an option on their website either. This is what the one on their website looks like:

I was thinking of how duct tape would do??

OK so I'm gathering that this is in fact not supposed to be there...

What kind of BOV would that even be a flange for???

Yes I do believe that is a BOV flange. And you should be able to block it off no problem.

Nah I'm sure ZZP will take care of me. They always do. They're great! I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't just missing something because I spent 15 minutes under my hood going

Truthfully, any BOV should be able to fit in there. But with minimal problems, there is 1 specific BOV that is should be fitted for. And I don't think that looked like my HKS Flange.

Actually, that is weird. I thought it might be the CP from their turbo kit but looking at the kit the BOV is on the exhaust mani not on the CP...???

Prototype? lol

The Wasted Gate goes on the exhaust manifold and the BOV goes on either the hot or cold side of the intake.

I thought it was a HKS for a split second too. However it appears to be a Vband style.

It's not 123 and free, he has to block off his BPV, and re route some things. Plus I know BYT will say differ, but to me releasing the air out instead of recirculating has to have some performance difference, unless GM was trying to keep costs down. There is a reason why it was done, maybe the GM engineer could give some insight.

You need more than just the BOV.... to do it right.

LOL I was like WTF? My bad. Thats the waste gate. I was looking at the kit but didnt see where the BOV attaches to on the CP's.

So where did this CP come from then?

PS Tial BOV seems to be what ZZP offers so it makes sense that its a Tial flange.

Eh I'll be relocating my MAF soon anyways and retuning for that so I'm not too worried about any performance hinderances (which have already been disproven BTW). I can't even believe I'm considering this an option I've made fun of BOVs for so long . But I know I would need a block off plate and stuff as well so I'm not too worried about that. I just want my the area under my hood to look decent for the meet that's all
