I know I saw BYT's thread, I'm trying to look for it to remember why I'm still not convinced.

well it could be for a bov but on the garett kit for 2.2l on the charge pipe i have the same hole but its about an inch wide and it goes to the bov that an evo 5 from japan have and made my ford but if its bigger it could be for a tial bov. and with having atmospheric bov will throw off the map sensor thats why its recirculating to what gm told me when i talked to them about the recall. i hope this helps some one out on the thread. oh and and sweetsandman if you want to get a bov get an evo 5 bov kit and you dont have to use the block off plate the tubes hook up to both sides and the one that goes to the intake the flange has that one blocked off to save you some time and money

Nah I think I'm just going to go the route of having ZZP swap out the correct CP for me as soon as they get back in contact with me. I just can't stand the thought of that stupid thing going ppssshhhhh all the damn time...it's just not for me...although Tial's are probably the quietest of all next to stock recirc lol

Yeah thats the Tial flange, I would just keep it and buy the Tial BOV, by far the best sounding one

I get mine today I hope it doesnt look like that with the flange on it lol but if it does then whatever I'll just but the Tial BOV

It's simple.

Tee off of the vacuum line, and hook that up to your BOV where the red line is.

I didn't touch my factory BPV, and I didn't block it off either, and I don't have ONE problem. Maybe I'm the lucky one.

You don't NEED a block off plate. Small tiny rich spike between gears, no biggie, get your tuner to compensate for it. And since you're relocating, you might as well slap one on for ***** and giggles.

X2 And you really don't hear the BOV unless your into boost, and not NLSing. It doesn't blow off when you NLS so when your racing they don't hear it until you get off the gas.

And if you drive it like grandma, then it won't be much different than having an intake on there...

I emailed them. They don't answer their phone very often. Waiting on reply email.

Again...I tune myself...and that is the only reason I'm considering this an option because I will be relocating the MAF soon enough

Eh. Stick with your gut and forget about BOV. Get the pipe you ordered and be done with it.

Yeah, I'm pretty bad at paying attention. Then just do it, if you wanna get a solid knockoff they're like 40$ off SiliconIntakes.com. A shitload of folks I know run their BOV's and not a single one has had an issue yet.

ZZP emailed back saying it's a Tial Flange...perhaps they use the same flange? Either way we are getting things resolved...unsure if I'm going to go the BOV route though.

Wow so you follow the "oh, band - aid it and hope it works method".

Re compensating for this in the ECM is going to cause what issues else where?

Where's BYT... he did a thread on the BOV.

I'm going to assume this: https://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt...1164&catid=186
has the same flange (V-Band) as a Tial BOV?
