i have a greddy RS with hahn block off plate. just put the block off plate on, put the spring and black piece behind the block off plate like it was. all the block off plate replaces is the tan piece with the vacuum nipple on it. then take the line that was on the BPV and run it into the HKS. That gives vacuum to the HKS to suck it open when you let off the gas. if your surging, you may not have enough vacuum, in which case you T into your intake manifold vacuum source as well. so you have vacuum from the solenoid, and the intake manifold. that should solve any problems.

and if anyone is getting sick of their BOV, chick out my classified thread, i wanna trade charge pipe sections with some1 with a different BOV as mine to just keep it fresh

Wait wait, so the block off plates people sell retain the stock spring and plunger setup?

I wonder if people have all these weird issues because that plunger is being forced open during high boost situations. Without boost on the vacuum nipple pushing against the plunger I'd think it would make it even slightly weaker.

Its definitely possible, a simple fix would be to put a thin piece of aluminum/steel under the plate to put more pressure on the diaphragm.
