How do I make these MAP connectors?
So instead of spending $100+ on the already made 3bar MAP sensor quick connectors that Crate Engine Depot sells, is there a way I can make these on my own? I already have the 3bar Map sensors and the male pigtails that plug into it. I'd prefer to not cut off the old 2.5 males and solder these one, so is there a way to order the 2.5bar female connectors with either pins or pigtails so that I can join the two?
I tried searching and came up with nothing so I'm afraid this hasn't been tried before, or at least hasn't been documented well before.

I don't have the 2.5bar MAP part number off hand, although I'm not sure if that would even help.

My god pigtails are high.
I can see why they are $100 for the kit.
I mean unless you can find them cheap, it's probably a lot quicker and easier to purchase the prebuilt ones. Plus if you ever get rid of the car those connectors could be sold easily.

So did you find some?

if you buy the gms1 stage kit from CED its much cheaper. Why should he sell the pigtails cheap when he goes to the time and effort and spends the money to research, obtain, wire and assemble the pigtail kit, and then not sell the kit as folks want to buy just the pigtail from him?
Its expensive to mod a car, its important to consider how to do things inexpensively, but you cant be riding on the back of a guy who has to stay in business and cant be giving the stuff away.
just sayin'.
Both Tom@CED and myself and folks like ZZP for example, do our best to provide quality parts and decent prices. Sometimes folks offer cheap prices for a part ( dual pass end plates for example) and the vendor and the customer pay the price for cheap, as sometimes the cheaper parts dont work well and you have to re do the work and replace the part.

I realize he has time and effort into making them which justifies his price. I already purchased the GMS1 kit through Tom back in the day for the Cobalt, but this time around I purchased the 3bar MAP sensors and pigtails from Performance Autowerks for less than what Tom is asking for the connectors alone . I have 3/4 of the parts to make the connectors, the only thing I'm missing is the female from the 2.5 bar sensors, but if they are really as expensive as umrdyldo says, I'll probably just end up buying them from Tom anyway.

No, if you don't buy the actual GMS1 kit from GM, a dealership, or Crate Engine Depot, you can't take it to a dealer to flash on GMS1. I am using HP tuners to flash on a revised GMS1 tune, so it'll be close to GMS1.

So these are the ones you already have right? Still trying to find out what the 2.5 bar sensor connector is called.

So if I wanted to stay in warranty I have to spend the 600 on the gms1?

Correct. That's what I did a couple years ago with my Cobalt because to me the warranty was worth it, but now that the Solstice I own is already out of all warranty, I'm going the much less expensive route
