I like and respect the caliber SRT-4 ALOT. I think there alot nicer and more practical then our cars. Plus...they can beat a stage 1 with a few mods I dont know why everyone thinks there so ugly, look at a SS/TC 4dr, looks like any other POS on the road stock, its how you can make it look that matters. And they have a nicer interior, refrigerated cup holders in glove box, 4 seats, speakers that flip down in the hatch. I love that car. Plus there black has gold flake in it. OOOOoooo

Yeah Kevin, but the interior materials are shittier than our cars.

I looked at buying the exact one that roasted Earl.

Piece of ****. Fast Piece of ****, though.

let keep it straight no clamp just 19psi flash lol
they wanted to try to clamp it, but no point
he just need to get the supporting mods
DP , FMIC and WGA
he has the WGA and nothing else
DP on order

there getting there boost pulled due to over temp from a 3rd gear pull.
FMIc will eleminate the higher temp the stock FMIC can t handle.
Just don t want you to be shocked when you meet up agianst him, and he has supporting MODS for the flash.

Yeah, I know him very well. Lives just down the street from me.

He was talking about the clamp, guess he didn't go through.

I've ridden in his car and driven his car. It's ******* fast.

You need a better tune as the Caliber srt4 with 19Psi tune pushes 310-330whp and i believe 350tq. I am cross shopping these cars right now and am torn. Both cars are very mod friendly. Not a fan of caliber interior compared to the cobalts with RPD unit.
Can any of you CSRT guys confirm what a stock CSRT c/w stage1 is supposed to make?

I had long understood there were no hp numbers for the kit, then today my brother suggested something like 299whp!?

I don't understand the crappy interior comment(s);
there's almost as much hard plastic surfaces as a Cobalt SS, but imho I think the CSRT has a great interior - those seats flat out rock...

right under 300 hp range
each dyno ones are diffrent, due to that the nature of diffrent dynos
seen 1 high as high as 302 bhp
some as low as 275 bhp

And yeah we do have crappy interior lol
But dodge was not known for it interior, it was market as the cheapest of all the Mopar family.
I think it went dodge then Plymouth, then Chrysler as top grade.
Also my SS colbalt had a crappy interior too

did you by chance mean whp and not bhp?

since they were rated at 285bhp for the get go, and that bone stock they have been dynoed at 281whp...

My bone stock SS/TC vs a bone stock CSRT4 = me winning by a car without NLS

My bone stock SS/TC vs the same CSRT4 after MS1 = me losing by at least 1.5-2 cars (still being pulled), and that is with NLS

I didn't race him after I installed GMS1, but it should be pretty damn close now. I might actually arrange that race soon.

My head keeps picturing the Ford Focus RS that is not going to be in America. Damn I'm just imaging that. Yeah, the refrigerated cup holders would be nice in our cars, plus the glove compartment. I can store all my energy drinks inside, damn that would be nice, especially during a run my mind will go, "I'm losing, need more energy drinks to stay focus". pop a can of "NOS" out of the glove compartment and go slurp.......

That's how I'm picturing at the Caliber SRT-4 look like a reflection. Makes me want to pull a motor swap if I had the money. Throw the LNF out and get a SRT-4 motor from the Neons and do the Y-pipe.

should just do a stroker kit on your 2.0 to like a 2.4
then you would have monster on your hands.
won t be to many car that would be able to pull on you.
It like the stroker kit for the NSRT 4 2.6 I beleave
seen them about 500 + hp runnin on E85 and still a good DD

The Caliber seats are nice but the grayish interior and guages dont look as well as the cobalts in my opinion. I could get a 2008 Caliber srt 10k miles for $17k but im sure i could talk down to $16k or a 2010 cobalt ss $19,600.... The Caliber has 2-3 scratches that would need to be repaired...

this is why i am leaning towards the cobalt. this is the cheapest srt4 caliber within 200 miles of me and when i see guys like you getting the srt for $16k with 6 miles on it i just see the cobalt as the better deal right now. Also lower rates on new cars....

lol. i just find this? wow.

yes, if u had asked and i thought i told you.. or edward did. i have the ptp 19psi flash, inlet tube and wga. hell, stock downpipe, stock intercooler, stock paper ass filter. no clamp, its pointless really with the flash.

no need for me to hide my mods. its obviously not stock and if u couldnt tell by the ridiculous smell of richness, u wouldve known regardless lol.

for the record, and ill let u ride in it so i can prove it to you. my car wont hold boost and it wasnt holding boost that night. its pulling throttle or timing. quite a few of us are having issues with this flash so i dunno what im going to do.

ill get it straight and we can run again though if u like.

im supposed to have downpipe, muffler delete (or something) and bigger fmic for it to run correctly, apparently itll run worse than just the 17psi flash like i am. ha oh well

Borg Warner K04 Turbo

Maximum flow:......... .21 kg/s or 380.6 cfm
Optimum output:....... 185 kW or 248chp
