HP Tuners Announces 08' Cobalt SS/TC software!
Caught in a rut having to use a price handheld tuner with minimal functionality?
HP Tuners is pleased to announce the release of our 08' Cobalt SS/TC software
Behind the scene's we have been very busy not only adding new support for this vehicle but also adding new parameters that add more functionality than ever with some great results already popping up from many tunershops & individuals alike!
Don't be forced into $1000 handhelds that have little to no end user adjustability when you can have a full tuning software suite that includes our editing software as well as our scanner software for less than $700 even for our top of the line Pro Model!
Add to that the support of the 2.4 NA, 2.0 SS/SC motor from previous years and the new 2.0 SS/TC application all all one interface and you have a complete package that covers more cobalt models than any other package!
Over the coming weeks we will also be adding several new scanner parameters that will support the stock Wideband O2 sensor as well as others.
Major new features in this latest v2.22:
Once again, we would like to thank our dedicated HPT staff, our team of forum moderators, beta testers and all our valued customers who help us keep VCM Suite at the leading edge of tuning solutions. We appreciate your enthusiasm, dedication, patience and feedback during the sometimes long and complex development process.

The advantage of Hahns is that you pay for it, they send it to you, you plug it in, hit a button, wait a few minutes for it to transfer and then you are done. With tuning software you either have to do it yourself, or upload someone elses tune (if they are even willing to share it).

There was some recent confusion about read & write times that I would like to put to rest.
The read times with our software on the SS/TC takes about 20 minutes due to the fact that we read the full operating system and that these pcm's only have a slow packet mode during the read process.
The write calibration only time with our software on the SS/TC takes about 30 SECONDS.
If you guys have any questions about this feel free to ask but I just wanted to put to rest any misinformation that may have been spread around.
Thanks,
Bill
We are pretty sure this is a non issue now as people are hitting 22-23 psi of boost without any issues from what we can tell and have also added some new Tq management tables that were missing previously as well as fixed a couple of the table axes that were previously incorrect.
Thanks,
Bill

i have nothing against the Evo's i was actually goin to get an Evo... but I just dont like how every1 says its still a Cobalt.....When i went from a Dodge Charger to a Cobalt thats all I heard was its still a cobalt..its still a cobalt... but when it came to lets race... no1 wuld race me lol
i think of my choice everyday of how life wuld be different if i had an Evo... I just wanted to be an underdog... i mean wen a Evo goes down the track in 11-12sec every1 simplys says "ohhh nice evo there made to go that fast" but when a cobalt goes down the track in 12sec every1 is like WTF i didnt know a cobalt could do that
but anyways I need some1 in my area to get this software update!!!!!
