So that low throttle woo sound from the forge bpv that's exptremely annoying. I finally solved it.
So here is what to do. Take apart the bpv, grease it up good after cleaning. Then take the lid with the vacuum nipple on it, take a drill bit that's slightly bigger than the hole, cause that hole is small compared to other bpv / bpv. Carefully , and I mean carefully, drill the inside hole on the inside of the lid bigger, then drill the nipple hole bigger. Watch on the inside so u get in there all the way. After I did it, it actually made the bpv quieter, and u either get a nice pshhh sound, or u get the Turkey gobble sound that sound so good , but that's only at higher boost. That middle horrid sound is gone. Your welcome

Ya it's a bigger turbo, same size hole to vent at the k04, with a tiny opening in the nipple . All those thing combined I'd think. But drilling it out sure does help, more than I thought it would

Wouldn't want to go to big, I'd imagine, else it might become weak, and break.
Wish there was a way to get rid of the flutter.
Still not sure about this whoo sound. I'll have to remember to listen next time I go out. Kind of tuned those noises out now.

So what size bit did you use?

Well I'd say to get optimum performance is do what I suggest above. Then drill out the port on intake manifold and tap to I/8 npt. And run an an4 line as close to bpv as u can then use an4 to hose barb to goto the bpv. I'm sure that will drastically improve it. I had a stock size line on my bov on k04 and it took to long to open. Did an4 for my 257 with same bov and it opens instantly

Or better yet a video?
Anyone else actually dry drilling out their forge BPV?
Or the rest also?
Be nice to hear others opinions, like Powell's, and Tems.
Sounds good, and would like to make this better for sure finally, but at the same time, hard to undrill.
