That seems like a crazy coincidence.
I have only lost maybe 2 in my 20 years of building. 1 was my own damn fault.
Many failures are due to crappy power supplies and crappy incoming power.

well idk what happened with the asus sabortooth z77 that went on me, it just one day wouldn't boot, I believe it was a surge from a bad usb device. from what the post message said. I did get it working again after a lot of reboots but after a few days it just didn't work anymore. it posts, but then freezes, doesn't even let me into bios. the other board I think was just the hard os got corrupted, but when I went to change the board out for another used one I had laying around the pci express 1 port came with the sound card lol I cant put it back on. I'm using it as my test board now, so it does actually still work. the z77 is the first asus board that has ever gone on me. it ran for 2 years straight. my previous board ran for 5 years straight, no rest cause I never turn off the pc, then ran for another 2 on a different pc, that's the one that I'm using as a test board now. so its still good. msi and gigabyte boards, max 2 years and they usually went on me.

both have good power supplies and I'm going through a battery backup, that I should probably see if the batteries are still good. my z77 had some issues from day one, every time id play a game and then exit, id get a bluescreen reboot. it did clear up after awhile though, upgraded video drivers I'm assuming fixed it. but still did it all the time before that, was annoying. just tick me off that no one has that board anymore, had to upgrade to z97 and a new cpu, since intel likes to change the pin setup of its cpu with every bloody new cpu that comes out. so fricken annoying

I gave the MAF a good cleaning, & my cold-start issues went away...

ok today I changed out my leaking zzp downpipe with a new zzp down pipe with no rear o2, I completely eliminated it since I don't have a cat. and I also replaced my opel injectors that I assumed were leaking or at least one was. after the install I went for a drive, and then sat at idle and observed for about 10 minutes.
before I changed these parts my a/f would bounce around anywhere from 15.2 down to 10.9 but it normally stayed between 15 and 13.5, which it shouldn't do. after the changing of those 2 parts, my a/f stick around 14.5-14.8 at idle. it mostly bounces around 14.6 to 14.8. which is right where its supposed to be. so I fixed my issue. was either the fuel injectors or the leaking downpipe. if u guys are having this issue. check for exhaust leaks, if there are non, injectors is possibly ur issue.
my fuel trims are off now, so I gotta get those back to par.
