Just replaced my suspension, and have questions regarding display conputer..

So my car was lowered and struts were bad. So I raised car back to new oem struts, shocks, and springs. Car was lowered on H&R springs. I also replaced front brakes with R1 concepts rotors and hawk hps pads. Anyways I took car for a little spin afterwards, and car was all over the road. Is all that is needed is a alignment? Or would something need to be reversed, that was done to lower car that low?

I also got to know car a little bit better, it had afternarket motormounts, a full zzp exhaust, and im pretty sure clutch has been changed.
And at some point while playing with the little computer attached to the A-pillar, i was trying to figure out why shift indicator wasnt showing. Instead it was showing coolant temp, fuel rail pressure, and i forget what the third thing was. Anyways, i think i made the mistake of returning it back to its original state, so now shift indicator is showing, but not accuratly working, and i cant get back those readings for the fuel rail pressure and coolant temp. Car was programmed by previos owner as it was getting upto 23-24 psi of boost.. So did i ruin those readings for myself?
I dont know what other mods may have been done.. Other then K&N CAI, and Injen charge pipes along with bigger intercooler.
Thanks for any help, Im hoping someone who knows these cars better then myself can chime in..

You will need an alignment for sure. And I'm guessing your talking about the rpd? If you are you can press the knob and the turn the knob and it should give you some other displays when you find the one you want just press the knob again it it will stay

Why does it look so high? You used FE5 suspension?

New hasnt settled yet? Good question, hope i installed the right parts, ordered from rockauto.com coil spring part numbers ACdelco 45H0404 front springs, and rear 45h3154. It was for the right car but didnt say anything about FE5.

I searched for you, but could not find that part number to match any of the FE5 part numbers on crate engine or wherever.

It may be correct and it may not be.

It's also hard to tell by those wheels you have.

How high is the front lip off the ground? Looks really really high.

Oh and I know we have had members get the wrong parts on RockAuto before. Different struts I believe.

Generally when buying parts I will either buy from CED or match the CED part to amazon.

Im pretty sure a member said rockauto sent him fe1s in place of fe5s. Whats the part number on the strut itself?

We understand what you ordered. I reviewed their site and there really is only one ACDelco option.

My front lip is 6.75-7" off the ground. I just measured my car on stock suspension.

If you are 8-9" off the ground at the front lip then I'd say you have to wrong ones.

Sorry i didnt grt back to everyone, but front is 8.5 inches off of ground, ride feels very stiff, those springs are aftermarket performance springs built for our car, a little bit of a stiffer ride. I put a call in to the manufacturer out of curiosity. It might beva little higher then stock, becuase they are stiffer and wont sqaut as much. Not that I plan to ever take car offroading, but it works well for me becuase its my daily driver, and i work for the railroad with lots of uneven parking areas. Now for a nice set of bigger shoes! Thanks for everyones input...

So either FE1 or FE3 springs is what you are saying. Which would be softer than stock springs with a higher ride height. As long as you are happy with the Griswald family truckster then cool.

Considering that rockauto has had this issue for awhile, i'll probably never buy parts for my car there.
