LSDs are good for plating power coming out of corners
I don't have it yet
F40s don't

I was thinking about this the other day (I have a non LSD F23) but wouldn't an LSD also tend to make you more prone to under-steer when under acceleration out of a corner? I don't have any sort of traction control or ABS. My thinking is if you are coming out of a corner hard enough that your inside tire is slipping, the outside tire is probably close to exceeding grip. With no LSD that inside tire will spin but the outside tire will continue to use most of it's grip to make it on around the corner until you straighten back out enough to regain grip in both wheels. With an LSD you are going to be sending more power to the outside wheel increasing the tendency to exceed grip on that tire and under-steer.
Not trying to start a debate or anything on this I just was wondering about this.

Well with my driving habits I like to take corners a bit hard but I should be fine without it but I'll look into the LSD for it and see if it's in the budget

The R is a K04 with more flow but if you think about it the R still has the same exhaust housing and the k04. So to get the benefits of the flow you need to keep EGTs in check to be able to run more timing. On my meth and 94 I was able to run it hard enough to have good gains but I also have a ported o2 housing which helps temps. I have tried everything on Shawns car and can not get more timing in the thing. If he added meth it would have huge gains over a k04 car
