I always ran my R with meth and good 94 octane. I normally ran it at 28psi @ 19° and it was fast. The meth helps cool the hot air before it hits the intake manifold which is really good on the R since there's more flow but same exhaust housing

Nathan you even made 70hp less than me same dyno same day running a simular setup but with more meth and 94 vs me with e25. So that shows how important good fuelling really is. I pay triple what most of you guys do to get my ethanol

So a k04r on E47 would be the same as a k04 on E47? Or no?

A k04 is not fuel limited on e47. For example my fuel which is E32 94 e10 mixed with pure E98. I have not found the limits of the fuel even at 32psi on 25°. On 91 I'd be around 26 to 28psi @ 12°

The first bit after i got my 71 i wasn't that impressed it was faster on 23psi than my R on 28 but I thought it would be better. After I got more tuning done and switched to E it was night and day difference

Can't speak for the r because I have a + but the bigger wheel is really different on e47. I'm around 380whp now on a dynojet. I have a brand new 7 blade r that I would let go for $575 with the coated housing. Let me know if you are interested.

I took out 2 trasmissions on ko4 and R and so far 0 on the 71. Having a slower spool help not nuke the trans. That being said I'm gonna be fixing my 3.82 trans crank up the boost and see what numbers she'll make. I don't wanna break the 4.05 trans

Well the kmo tuned k04r around me (my buddy) I'm pulling on him by about a car, car 1/2 every single time we do a run. So doesn't seem like a worthy upgrade if you're staying on pump gas.

From what j see people saying, meth would be the world of difference
