LNF to LSJ exhaust

No i'm not asking what's the best exhaust so calm yourself.

I know that the LSJ and LNF cobalts have a different flange on the exhaust and you can't use an exhaust from an earlier cobalt on an LNF car.

My question is if the length of the LNF exhaust is shorter/ longer or has different bends?

The reason I ask is if the LNF exhaust is shorter but same bends why couldn't a short adapter be made so that one could use older cobalt exhaust on an LNF car.

lol i love how so far NOBODY is willing to touch this one........

1st-LNF has EXACT SAME SIZE of exhaust vs the LSJ........swapping would be 100% POINTLESS u would get no difference in sound at all, u want more noise on the LNF for exhaust, CUT THE MUFFLER OFF, several ppl have done this already and it sounds awsome.

2nd- wtf are u doing changing the exhaust on a brand new car??

3rd- why the *** wouldn't u just get an aftermarket exhaust from Hahn????

4th-.............i'm done this is retarded

u should put that in the first post then........

any exhaust can be MADE to fit the ss/tc, it's called welding

overall tho man, i wouldn't be stupid and try that, your setting yourself up for failure and loss of invested time/money

SS/TC Exhaust clip with no muffler $100 or less
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHcpNI6lgIA

Hahn 3inch exhaust

Dood, wats the temperature outside right now? Think hard......do u really need more "power" in winter?? I'd wait till spring for a few more exhausts to be developed and released, then you'll get your choice of exhaust and better pricing. I won't be spending a penny on any exhaust system for mine till ARK finishes theirs for the ss/tc.

dood his statement is one of the most confusing posts i've seen in months on here......how bout......"I'd like to know if an ss/sc Megan racing/ARK/Magnaflow exhaust from the LSJ could be adapted to fit the ss/tc?" The way he posted makes me and probably everyone else think he's trying to put a stock LSJ exhaust on the ss/tc...........it's not that he's asking a wrong question it just should be re-worded so ppl don't get confused.

i seriously doubt it, the turbo is a huge factor in this case

So does anyone know a length difference?

I'm looking to switch to a SS/TC and would love to just convert my exhaust over. I know I can get a new flange welded on, but need to know if the resonator pipe needs to be longer or shorter.

I guess I can nut up and be the tester, but I don't think I'll have the car for 3-6 months.

Has the same bends, other than the flange it will fit.

Going to Megan tomorrow to do a test fit. I gave them my flange after I got the Hahn exhaust.

That's great news. Wonder if they would ship out a mid-pipe that would bolt between old and new. That would be awesome.
