LNF PCV Anti-coking drain back system
#27
Picture of what hoses you have left? I prefer to leave the stock hoses intact, there is a reason GM spent the money there, and the risk of a line falling off due to heat (and the underhood temps of an LNF are unbeleivably high) and potentially spraying a vaporized oil mist on the hot turbo = potential fire. That is something I would prefer to avoid.

He would probably have to have a longer -6 line to compensate, and use one of those connectors I found. Need to test fit them still. On my TODO list when I get back from VIR.

I'm just not telling mine
So shipping better come before she gets home or
Anyway I wrote Gloria, I'm number 2 on this ordering list, we need more so we can save some $$$$
And as requested here's the hose that was replaced on my car for the MPx Catch Can. In the first picture, the rubber hose is leading to the turbo.
And I know it's hard to see, but towards the middle of the picture below, there's where the other end went. Now I have two rubber hose(s) ???? going to the MPx Catch can on the last picture.

I am a guy that paid everyone to work on his car. When I had my Integra LSVTEC, everything and I mean everything was done by a shop. I never opened my hood.
As for my driving habits, I rarely go WOT and I typically keep it to the track. I'm no saint I still race here and there, but it's more often than not I'm doing the speed limit and stay out of boost.
Anyway where are the possible dangers of this?

It's true, I don't have a clamp on that hose. I assumed since it was super snug it'd be fine. It is difficult to pull off with my own strength. It's been okay for 10,000 miles so far, but like I said in another thread, I'm probably the least car savvy person on this forum lol. I am not kidding, it took me months to muster up courage to regap my spark plugs and this year was the first year I did my own oil changes. I still don't know what a boost leak, spark blowout, knock, sound like and I pay someone to gumout my car like you guys do with seafoam

You're probably trying to pull it off when it's nice and cold. If you try it while it is flaming hot, you would likely have a different story. If the line pops off, you'll likely start spewing oily vapors, or at supposedly filtered vapors (since it is post catch can). You'll likely get smoking, and a small chance of a fire.

Does anyone know the part number or what this is called so I can get a new one for this PCV Anit Coking part? If I understood correctly, I need a stock one to make it work right. As you can see I had to damage it to get it off. It took me hours to get this off.

^^^true, and I do have a couple of spare such hoses here...so np. Next time use a small tie wrap and a couple of piks/small screwdrivers to get it off. TIP: dont tug on it. Once the 4 stainless tangs are pushed back, it slides off like a drunk on a cheap date.
