Lnf problems :(

Hey guys, my 09 SS has been having problems. The car has a misfire and the rpm needle drops and goes back up when it's on neutral coming to a stop. Could it be a dirty throttle body? Or dirty maf? Btw. It's running lean and it has a brand new ldk installed. Any help will be great. Thanks

Have you boost-leak tested?

I haven't. I will do that tomorrow. I recently installed an aftermarket lower charge pipe and then all these problems started to occur.

It's currently on gms1. Why don't you recommend the gms1?

Dont listen to him.

The rpm dropping is most likely connected to a vacuum or boost leak probably from the lower charge pipe. Start there, when you installed the LDK did you use new AC Delco plugs? And then the break in period was followed?

I bought the ldk long block from zzp. It already came with spark plugs but i have (new) spare spark plugs. However i did leave my aftermarket c.a.i. installed. Not sure if that can cause it.

Do you still have the stock one kicking around? If so put that on till you can get the issue straighten out then try the AEM intake again

For sure sounds like a boost leak probably in lower charge pipe.

Do you have any way to monitor the car? You should be watching your fuel trims and such.

Especially after a new install. You have no idea how it's running and could hurt the new engine.
