LNF R&D Updates

eh, depending on how much power you're trying to make, stock internals will hold up fine, we did a 3076r car over a year ago and only problem we had was blowing up a transmission. 28 psi on pump gas and motor is still pretty happy w/over 14k miles of hard driving so far. but if you're looking at going ***** out in the 450whp + range I would definitely start looking into building the motor first.

I'm late as ever on this, but good stuff ZZP. I came on looking for progress and you all have made it.
I'm waiting to hear prices and the like because I'm looking at getting an upgraded turbo this summer. If need be I'll take a few days off and drive up there for you guys to install this stuff.
Good working, waiting for pricings and what the stock internals can and cannot do.

Ryan is currently working on the intake swap LSJ turbo kit. He is going to race with that setup this year. We will base the kit on the S252 that we are including in the LNF turbo upgrade kit.

this is great to have stumbled upon!

ZZP performance bookmarked;
I'm not going to screw with my car and chance voiding warranty for a little while still, but after that's gone, I WILL be upgrading...

It is affordable but you add clutch valve springs and that kind of sours the deal ... I don't want to have to buy and install the clutch. Anyone running a stock clutch on that 252 ? I just know it can't handle it ...

Torque will come on a little higher in the RPMs which helps some but when it hits it is going to slip bad unless the tires give up first.

Well I have some money flying my way here and I think I could afford it all but do I want to deal with all the headaches and what not with having a high hp fwd turbo car ..
I think the 252 would be a good match , I feel the k04 is a tiny turbo for this car,
Even at 6000 ft term you think I will be making enough up here to start slipping . I just haven't felt my clutch slip the entire time having the car, and I am not very nice to it half the time ? What clutch should I go with , ill get that put in first ...
lol , I know it will work , the question is how many WOT pulls will it last for
Either way I am doing it this fall 90% sure now ..

All I can say is mine lasted for most of the dyno tuning. Dyno runs are pretty dang hard on the car (harder than the street).
Also, Term, this was on the most conservative Mustang dyno I have ever seen, so I am sure it was really quite a bit over 400wtq. Example, my car put down 219wtq stock (to show how conservative it really is).

I can't remeber where in AZ they are but if you dont wanna do it yourself then it wouldn't hurt to call and find out labor rates
EDIT: Gilbert AZ
I was just thinkin' to that Full-race is in Phoenix and I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing the install
