Lower charge pipe/tmap problems solved
I'm not sure if anyone else has done this but I modified my Treadstone lower charge pipe. Just like many others, it didn't fit. It was about 1.5" off from the intercooler, so I started by cutting the pipe about an inch from the elbow and removing an inch from the straight section. In doing so I achieved this
Now before doing this, I noticed tmap was going to be a problem in either rotation. After cutting and feeling awesome about fit, there was interference with a/c compressor/fans (either rotation ). I thought about cutting pipe again and rotate it but I thought I would give a shot at the aluminum welder at work.
Welded a piece of aluminum onto the mount and drilled/tapped it. Plus, bolt is actually 20mm O.C. so it is dead center of tmap. Finally get to test car out once I throw this in. And yes, I would weld the two pieces of pipe back together but the welder at work is crazy fast (too dumb to figure out how to drop wire speed if possible with that machine) and pretty powerful.

I had a treadstone at one point and it fit fine. I didn't have 3 bar though then, but that's why I bought a zzp pipe, it solves the problem completely. except the fitment sucked, don't know if they fixed that, I just cut it off and put a 90 degree coupler, now it takes like 2 minutes to install instead of an hour. love it so easy to put in.

My car had a zzp pipe on it, and it fit okay. I figured out how to install it fairly easily without cutting it. The tmap was still too close to the a/c. But I wanted a blow through maf set up, so I got the treadstone one and found it had to be modified.
