1 part E10 93 + 4 parts E85 = 70% E by volume.

(.9 gal gas + .1 gal E) + (.6 gal gas + 3.4 gal E)

3.5 gal E / 5 gal total = 70% E

Now you want to get into the winter blends? Test your fuel stock.

Fromw what I understand the injectors are not the problem, its the two fuel pumps.

No. But you could have two tunes - one for gasoline and one for E85. I'm considering adding another feature to EZ Flash where the end user can adjust for any mix of E85

Update

Looks like the injection timing stuff worked. I don't have E85 in my car yet, so the "positive" case hasn't been proven, but I was able to induce injection window misfire by retarding what we suspected to be the injection timing and lowering the rail pressure down to 1000psi. Just lowering the rail pressure did not induce the misfire, so the test is probably valid.

The stock injection timing parameter at high load / high RPM is 240*. I was able to advance this all the way to 330* without any noticible issue. It didn't seem like we were spraying out the open exhaust valve.

I'll be contacting a few people to help test on their cars, but it looks like we've got it.

some of it has gone over my head to understand, but Vince is scientific smart. Means we all be driving E85. Too bad my state doesn't have any E85 stations around where I live at. I notice I have two stations located in Camp Lejune and Cherry Point, which is 40 minutes out from where I live.

Any idea if you'll be able to add support for other proprietary software brands? Sounds like I might be caving and getting the ol' hybrid tune.

I'm guessing that you have plenty of test sleds, but I'm literally just up the street from you (Sammamish). Car's 100% stock '08. If you want to use it I have a winter beater I can drive for a few days.
