How are the non-tuners switching over to this tune? You have to drive until almost empty, go to the gas-station, fill up on E-85, then have tune downloaded at the gas station?

I got 4 fuel jugs filled up at the E85 station and then ran my car out of gas and loaded it up in the driveway. I keep 2 jugs in the truck and fill them up anytime I go past the E85 station.

Unfortunately, after reading all of this, it doesn't look like a daily driver can use this E-85 tune. Maybe if I had another car, but this just looks like a big pain in the butt.

Run it til the Low Fuel DIC pops up, Fill it with E-85, drive it home EASY & load the tune. It takes a few miles to flush the gasoline out of the pump, lines, ect.

Or load the tune first, let it run rich until you get to the station, then fill it up.

The 2 gals of gas left in your tank will skew the fuel trims a few percent until the next fill up. Not a big deal.

I have e85 stations all around me in DFW so no biggie for me either. I saved all of the locations to my gps in my phone. Since I have clutch issues with the tune on I just run the base tune around until I can get better clutch. And BTW the base tune with e85 makes nasty power still...its just hard to not hit the button....

The only minor issue I had was cold starting. For some reason I would try to start the car and it would just crank. On the second try it would start right up. So now I just crank it for 2 seconds turn it off and it starts right up. Cold only 25 degrees
