So with e85 is there any effect in regards to reliability? Also say you have to go in for warranty work, so you flash back to the stock tune; would they be able to tell e85 was ever used in the car?

When I'm turning on the car, I'll put it in "Run" for a sec to let the pump finish priming first, and then try starting it. This seems to help.

If it still doesn't help, then do it twice before starting.

So my problem is normal? Even with the weather being 90 degrees? I thought it would just have problems starting when the weather is cold. Would this problem u think go away with e47 mix?

Well, until more people chime in, I don't know if I could say it's "normal".

I do know that several people have mentioned it though. I don't think that the mix would alleviate it either, because one of the people I know with the problem is on the mix.

I'm running full E85 on Vince's layer/HPTuners tune and it starts fine even at 20*f. I think you may have another issue. Did you send a log to Vince for him to look at?

The starting thing only seems to only be a problem when it's been sitting for a while (like maybe a day or more). It'll either crank an extra half-second, or will start as fast as normal but run weak for a split second as the RPMs rise right after startup, and then resume normal operation. If you are restarting when it hasn't been sitting for like a day, like running errands or something, then it starts just like normal.

Yup... been sending them in somewhat regularly recently. Yesterday, he sent me a new leaner rev, and I logged it last night. I actually had to do it in two parts because although it was happy earlier in the day, a cold front blew through a brought temps down to the 50s before midnight. So I went out again and logged in the colder temps, as that's where it was having trouble with the fueling keeping up.

The new rev seems as happy as a clam in hot or cold so far.

Possibly.

It's such a small issue that I'm not going to be chasing it unless I'm swapping the pump or something. It doesn't cause me any problems worth looking into. Maybe it'd be worth it to somebody else though.

I have not had that issue with temps ranging from 40 to 85 deg. When I first start the car I have to let it warm up for a sec though. If I touch the gas to soon it will roll a little. I'm on my second tank full of 100% E85

Are you having any fueling issues with your tune?

not that I can tell. No codes and pulls real hard. Just will not start in the morning. I have put maybe 8 tankfuls of e85 thru so far and the starting issues are getting troublesome. I might switch back to 91 tune later this week to see what happens. I will also let the fuel pump cycle a few times in the morning prior to starting to see if this helps.

What is the highest you have taken it? Around 120-140 I will get a fuel cut. I thought it was my intake so I had taken it off but I am still running into problems, I'm hoping a retune for my stock AB will take care of it.

I have not been over 110 but I suspect there might be trouble. Do you have a for lack of better term a dead spot in third gear also or moment of hesitation.

Towards the end of third sometimes i will get a hiccup and then itll pop the code and reduce the engine power. Its only late in 3rd or 4th.
