May have solved 100% E85 on LNF puzzle

^^^I like to hear that
I also had a weird thought...Since Ethanol burns cleaner than regular gas to the best of my knowledge, would it be possible for one to pass an E test while being catless running full E or even part E?

I'd still love them to run it just to see

Was that full E-85 or just E-47? I thought you filled up with just E-85? Because if that was just E-47 you were exceeding the max torque the factory injection settings can handle on E-47 which means you are making at least 410 wtrq. Airloads were very high at 326% in 3rd at 4K RPMs.

LOL haha yea that was a 50/50 mix with e85 and 91 octane. No wonder why my car threw a low rail pressure code before we went to straight hptune. I hope what you are saying is good lol this whole fuel injection system crap in new to me... I'm so used to tuning a carburetor.
I can carb tune as well. I have a WB on my Polaris Outlaw 525 so I can tune it.

This is what I looked like when reading that-------->
Haha a wideband on a quad thats awesome, I never thought of that... I always just arm dynoed my stuff... if I couldn't feel my shoulders getting pulled out of the sockets it wasn't fast enough! haha retune for race gas!

LOL torque monster... yea I know tell that to my tires and the V-8s I embarrass from time to time.

Your car makes too much low end torque for the HPFP to keep up on E-47 LOL. You really should try to mod the HPFP if you know of a diesel shop that could bore it out and put a larger piston in it.

Part of the install is done, I used a Devil's Own tap on the WWF tank lower front side behind the foglight. Mounted the nozzle in the ZZP Maf relocate block off plate in the CP just before the TB. Ran the nozzle tubing and boost tubing. The kit was missing the boost switch (stage 1) so I'm waiting on it to finish but the pump will be mounted down in the bumper space behind the driver's foglight. Boost switch will mount in there behind the headlight also. Only exposed parts will be the tubing, checkvalve and nozzle. Boost switch tubing will tee into the line from the lower CP pressure tap.
Getting some fittings tonight so I can mount the pump down in there lower than the tank.
It's progressing in stages. \threadjack. lol

I'll try and snap some pics when I pull the headlight out to finish it up for Gremlin. Prob be Mon or Tues.

You still have a low rail pressure issue on E-47. That last file I sent I advanced the injection timing to ~325 to 339* BTDC. I hope it helps if not you might need to back it down to 2 parts 91 octane to 1 part E-85.

For those that may ever need to switch back and forth:
Had to go on a 5+ hour drive trip up north and back a while back, to an area that didn't have much E85 around, so I decided on switching to gas for the trip and then switching back once I got back...
Tip: After running the car down on gas or E85, fill up and drive around for 5-10mins BEFORE flashing the tune, or the car will hate you.
The first switch back to 93, I ran the tank almost empty, filled up, rolled the car back, and flashed it right then. The car wanted no part of things until it got into closed loop, and still pretty much ran funky until it was most of the way through the fuel transition in the fueling system. I secretly blame it on the car becoming an E junky.
Knowing this, when switching back to E85, I did the flash after some driving and my trims started shifting, and it was a smooth, seamless transition.
I know not everybody has fuel trim monitoring capabilities, so just give it 5-10mins of easy driving to get the juices flowing before doing the flash. I would also recommend keeping out of boost during the transition period as well, for the sake of the engine.
Anyway, just wanted to clarify any questions people may have had about the order of things during switches back and forth.

I don't have a idle or starting issue at all. But I have read that E does respond unfavorably to chilly mornings.

my mileage test is on! i got a 350 mile trip to Houston on e85. last time i made it from Edinburg, Tx to Buckeys Truck stop thats outside of Houston with 1/4 tank to spare on 93. gonna see how far i make it on e85. im taking an extra 5 gallon jug of e85 just to make sure.
