HELP!! P0011 Timing Over advance Bank 1(intake)

Car: 2009 Cobalt SS LNF with stock turbo

I have changed out every part known to be in direct correlation with this code. I've change out both map sensors, cam sensors, cam gear/phaser, the cam actuator ontop of the head next to the spark plug coil. I'm still throwing this code.

I'm currently trifecta tuned.

Mods include
E85 injector seals
ZZP bigger fuel lobe cam
ZZP 85# valve springs
Treadstone tr8 intercooler and hard piping
Turbo back uncatted Exhaust
plus other things that I don't think would affect this problem.

I have thrown all the parts at it so it has got to be a tuning issue. I Just got my hands on HPtuner so maybe someone could help me and take a look at WTH is going on here. I have exhausted my skills, not the tuning guru's please help! Suggestions.... questions.... anything I could try and do to resolve this.

If you changed both cam phasers on top of the valve cover, you could try an oil change.

Also check wiring from cam phasers back to ECU.

Also may need to see if timing has jumped a tooth.

Oil Condition
Oil Level / Pressure
Batt. Voltage.
Bad Actuator

Don't forget to check that your battery is good.

I Just changed the cam gear/phaser yesterday and checked and double checked timing. The timing before I changed that was right on. I Have change both the Exhaust and intake cam actuator. When I changed out the cam gear I also had to change oil and filter.

I will check battery level.

Oil pressure seems just fine.

since you have HPTuners, record a file, and i'll take a look at it to see if anything is obvious to me.
if you're willing to share the recorded data, some people protect it as if it's their freaking intellectual property, lol.

after all the parts you changed, the only things left is
1) the wiring harness, or maybe corroded connector pins,
2) skipped timing tooth or timing chain installed incorrectly.
3) could be tune, but it kinda seems unlikey

in no particular order.

EDIT: im not on my tuning laptop so i can't say exactly what PIDs to record, but it's pretty obvious, intake and exhaust, both desired and measured. among all the other usual stuff. you could easily find a LNF config on the HPT forums

Thanks, and I'll check the pins and wiring going to the actuator to see if I can find anything corroded or obvious. Ill have to figure out how to use HPtuner and get you a file. I appreciate the help!

You're sure the timing is correct? If it's not a sensor/electrical issue, it's possible it jumped a tooth. I've seen it move a tooth on the bottom or 2-3 teeth on the top and still run ok but set codes.

It was perfectly in time when I took the timing cover off and perfectly in time when I put it back on.

I can't see how a tune can cause this, it doesn't edit the diagnostic settings so it shouldn't be out of range enough to set a code. Post up a copy of the intake VVT table, and we can compare it to a stock one.

I'm trying to figure out how to record a log ATM. Like I said I just got this hp tuner and I'm trying to figure out how to use it. So how do I save a log with the intake vvt to show you?

i made this simple config for u, use it with VCM Scanner. I made it with version 2.24 and hopefully it will work in other versions too.

the only thing that matters are the PIDs listed in the "Table Display" the chart or hystograms don't matter for recording.

EDIT: i did this on the couch and never tested it in vehicle, soooo.... hopefully i guessed it right, lol
