sweet.
I'm probably the only tuner on these boards that actually has his own answering service who replies to emails and phone calls for him. For the last 3 days I have had one of my business associates doing practically nothing but ordering ECMs, buying credits, answering phone calls, replying to emails, posting on forums etc.

So the solstice and skys don't have no-lift shift, but after driving one tonight at 23psi I don't think that they should have it either. That would probably slingshot the rear end around and end up killing someone.
So far best LNF times I have seen in the 1/4 are 12.86 @ 109.5 That was running 19psi. My tunes are making 22+. They actually make a ton of boost down low then loose a little towards the top.

On most cars 18-20 psi above 6,000rpms. It does fall off. I'm going to try to tune that out today if possible. I've got 1 Cobalt, 3 Skys, and 2 Solstice Today, and 2 more Solstice tomorrow. I ought to figure EVERYTHING out by the end of this weekend.

REASON: the pressure will just create heat, and even sometimes force the valves open. The RPMs won't increase fast enough to get rid of the air and heat. So don't ask for boost unless you are sure you are in the right gear.
ALSO: learn what knock sounds like on your car, and never push the car when you hear that noise.
These tips will save your car's life. I wish more people knew how to drive, really.
But yes, 22psi is safe on this motor design as long as you are RESPONSIBLE. Use Judgement, Use proper fuel, Be safe, and Be knowledgable. Modified Cars are not for everyone. Even if you want one really bad you may not be experienced enough to own one. I am having to warn my Solstice and Sky customers about the danger of the car with this much torque. These cars are making nearly as much torque as the LS2 conversion solstice, and these can be dangerous and deadly when not properly handled. I myself have felt the rear end sliding around from me while driving straight and nailing it in third gear. (And that was with Toyo Proxies on big fat rims) Stock tires will be screaming on these cars.
You're a G-damn Doll! :-* Thanks for the add! I'll have to send you my bands link too so you can add us.
