I couldn't even feel the car shift, and it held boost through the shifts. It was insane. Just felt like one long-ass gear all the way to the top of third.

I prefer Honey Dijon
I went to the track today and raced my Mustang against a guy with a 2005 6.0L GTO M6 seven different times, and I beat him by 3+ car lengths each and every time.
My car was SO loud! LOL!
Here's picks of yesterday's car
Mmm, mmm bitch!

I have about 30 local Solstice/Skys that I tuned and hang out with.
As for the times......nothing that will impress anyone. AZ summer racing proves for considerably slower times and speeds. But I ran pump gas and he ran a mix of 91 and 100. And he had a pedders track suspension.
My last car was a GTO.....I know they are quick, that's why I'm surprised I schooled him so bad each and every time. He was a good sport about it though.

Just had my car tuned by Psykostevo - and holy shiate its a beast now. It just pulls like a train with no dead spots in the tune. I'm very impressed. With the light SSRs and tune, the car is definitely close to a high 4sec 60, traction limited. Off boost, the driveability is perfect. No issues whatsoever. I even think I picked up a tick or two of MPG. Too early to tell until I run a couple tanks.
We changed a couple things for road racing to help keep the car in gear and on boost. We raised the rev limiter to 7K in 1st and 2nd which adds some flexibility so you dont have to pay close attention to the stock 6300 limit. I still shift close to that, but if I'm focused on a corner, I can listen to the engine and not worry about having the TB shutting things down. We also raised the boost in 1st just a bit over the stock limits. Outside of 1st, boost peaks around 22psi. Inside 1st, its about 18psi.
Doing flat foot shifts its amazing because the engine never dips in power. You have to sidestep the 1-2 shift and not let it out all the way until you feel the power transfer to the tires. Hard to explain, but you dont want to dump it like you can in the latter gear changes. Watch out for 2-3 because the power and grip and in sync and when you flat foot it, the car keeps leaping forward and it gets fast in a hurry. No issues with the clutch or wheel hop.
The only mod I have is a KN drop in and the light wheels. It would easily smoke a EVOX from a roll. I'd definitely say Steve knows what he's doing. The tune came out perfect, the first time.

You shouldn't pick up any milage from the tune itself, unless he has tweaked it for that...last I checked, it was pretty much just for the added boost, and fine-tuning at the higher RPMs. But I do have yet to get his latest version, so we'll see.
Oh, and do you know what the weight difference is between your wheels and the stockers?

Try more.....we were in 112* heat. And the power isn't just peak.....it's the entire powerband that picks up by a huge amount.
Don't you put that on me Ricky Bobby!
