Selectable tune: Cruise control or Traction control
#102
heres my opinion..... i think it should use the traction button due to the fact that i do hit my cruise button here and there.
Traction on - Stock or an economy mode
Traction off - Performance tune(21.5 psi)
Competitive mode - Extreme Tune

is it possible to put it in comp while were driving. this is what i want
no buttons pushed=stock
cruise button=econo mode
traction off=21.5 trifecta tune
comp mode=different launch control at 3k and beast mode 30 psi
i want to be able to dyno it when its gonna be in beast mode

Agreed! I hit my cruise button all the time too!

Well, I set it up so I can "flip a switch" in the tune file to choose multiple triggers-
00 = Competitive Mode
01 = ESC Off Mode
02 = Cruise Control Master Enable/Disable
...and we can add more triggers as we come up with them. I might make it so multiple triggers can be used:
01 = Competitive Mode
02 = ESC Off Mode
04 = Cruise Control
...
So, if there was an 03 it would mean both competitive mode and ESC off mode are a trigger.
How much proof do we need? I can prove the ECM returns the stock OS ID, CAL IDs, and CVNs, but I expect people will want more than that. If someone that has one of my cables with a 2008 LNF and knows a GM Tech that can try it, I'll send the new tune to them.

This is what i would want.
No buttons pushed=stock / Gm Stage kit / Superchips
Cruise Control button on = Econo mode
Traction off = 21.5 trifecta tune
Comp mode or ESC off = different launch control at 3k and "beast" mode 30 psi
I would buy that in an instant heartbeat, Vince you are the man!!

Make comp mode mean something..and having a useful launch control would be interesting as well.

When you do a track day you usually run in "all nannys off" mode. While in this mode could you then hit the cruise button so no light=mild tune (22.5psi) then amber light on = kill mode?? That would be my optimal set up.
Damn Vince you keep this kind of progress up in six months were gonna be playing Forza2 on our RPDs using our gas and wheel to control it! They are drive by wire after all
