So, by doing research into the responsiveness of our cars towards modifications. I was betting on if I went ahead and upgraded my head to the ZZP ported head with cams and ask for the hpfp lobe along with running meth and a decently, but not too aggressive BYT tune on meth. Also a clutch will be involved but that will have me pretty well maxed out on mods until winter is over because I really don't want to take my car anywhere too much during winter. I was just thinking I would be smart if I bought the supporting valvetrain before since the EFR won't be out soon enough before winter but I'd be ready to bolt it up and tune the hell out of it. Plus it would lessen some of the restriction on the stock setup, even tho theres hardly any. I am having second opinions because I am car savvy but not really a mechanic, rather an Electrical Engineer, so maybe some of ZZPs guys could chime in and tell me if I could get a relatively easy 375whp out of the ZZP head/cams along with meth and a really good HP Tune?

IMO that might be pushing the envelope a bit but I vbet you can make that type if power with that combo. But your turbo will still be way out of effciency and breath by the time you could spin it high enough to need that combo. You could likely even make that with just an E-blend . No head or cams I'm prett sure that's been done.

Going to be hard to hit that number on the stock turbo IMHO. Of course, anything is possible within the realms of reason but I would definitely find yourself an extremely competent tuner, such as Nick whom you've already listed. I don't foresee these kinds of numbers being hit without a somewhat aggressive tune, although you're not looking for such a tune.
Personally, I'd leave the head alone, pick up the ZZP cams/valve train components and get a moderate tune until the EFR bolt on is ready.
Best of luck.

Well, I was going to just upgrade my valvetrain and add cams until I started adding up things and it'd only be around $500 more to go ported head/cams/tune combo. So I figured, what the hell...I'll have a brand new head, brand new lash adjusters, brand new valve seals, just a completely brand new top end, Plus an adjusted tune for the cams. I do however, only have 24k miles on the top end.

Well, i guess I should quit being a dipshit and read more. Didn't even think they had tested their cams on a stock turbo Cobalt. They were putting down 362 with the cams on pump gas and prolly meth too so theres no reason I couldn't put down 375 with a ported head and cams. Eh, 350 does sound safe tho.

Alright, thanks man. I'm going to buy a clutch next week since I just rotated my tires and my clutch started slipping up a hill at full boost in 3rd. I think I may just go with cams/springs and get em a few weeks after the clutch. Snow Progressive Meth kit is on its way atm. Sorry BYT, we may not meet to tune me until a month or so unless I get HPT, lol.
