Track Testing ZZP Motor and ZZP/EFR Turbo
#76
The thing is it even says in the zzp threads what there engines are made like. It has been proven on each one of the zzp motors they have in the community right now. It was also posted not long ago from zoomer about the reasons why sleeving the block are bad, you have to cut away some of the aluminum to fit the sleeves making the rest of the block weak. The sleeves in these motors are very strong to begin with, it is the block itself that is the weak part, again making these parts thinner will only make it weaker in the end. I dont mean to come off like I did but the zzp short block is the way to go. I think you looking into the 2.1 is also your best bet, no need for the 2.4, but if thats what you want you can do it. The 2.0 with zzp rods and wisecos and the zzp block will easily be good for 600whp with the right turbo set up.
Ok gotcha. But for the 2.1, can I get the wiseco 88mm and keep my block or I have to change something else?
They have stage two cams you can buy

Ahh, could be. It's not always easy to put a name with a screen name. Honestly, I'm working with about a dozen people right now concerning LNF turbo swap builds.

good stuff man, I will deff be keeping an eye on this since I will most likely be doing the 2.1 build this spring. Don't know if you remember talkin about my project through emails or not, but I'm leaning towards doing what you guys suggested with the 2.1.
