patience my young one lol actually we may have a good sized bump in the road. my pcm is locked so my tuner cant access it to tune it. any recommendations on how to unlock it?? it was previously tuned when i bought it so i have no clue by who.

why would somebody lock their tune tho? Who else really does that aside from Trifecta and GMS1?

Thats what im sayin too! I assuming its HP tuned since the tune is constantly on (removing trifecta)..and i seriously doubt its gms1 cuz its been scanned at a GM dealership and they said it was an aftermarket tune and voids warrenty.

I'm pretty sure those lowering springs void your warrenty... well if they dont say anything about your Stage 4 turbo kit anyways

tech 2 would be the only way if the pcm is locked i believe

you can lock a tune through hptuners and only that cable can read it/unlock it again. do you know the previous owner?

Yea tech 2 is what my tuner told me to go try at our gm dealership...is that a for sure thing tho?

just take it to gm have them flash it back to stock and make sure it has ur vin on it

tech 2 is a sure thing. it would be the only way without having the original cable that the car would be tuned with.
